Well today I had a bit of a surprise as the parts turned up for the CGE pro I ordered it on Monday & it arrived today Thursday so not bad from ordering from the states, I never hard anyone knock on the door so when I went to go to work there it sat on the doorstep. All the parts are present & correct so I'll get round to fitting it next week & maybe get a chance to fire it up.

good job !!! i have the same onstep conversion from Chad. little tip...dont forget to add the front screw on the motor first before you install it,the sleeve is to small to install the screw after it. also when you add the belt to the motor ,just tight is normal ,first secure the front screw,and then the 2 screws in the back,you will see the belt will be perfect tight. its a great job Chad did,it saved my broken cge pro, celestron did not have parts for it anymore. greetings John ,any questions just ask,or read the manual 😎

I've got it all fitted now & up & running didn't take to long to do & yeah I forgot to put that motor bolt in first before bolting the bracket on, Chad's been a great help guiding me through how the onStep system works to. Although I may have to take some of it apart again to re-grease the Dec worm gear.

I've pretty much got it all together this morning before work & I were slewing the mount using the handset so it's working, the new motors when they start spinning up sound like a jet turbine firing up into life lol

@@LogansAstro All working with NINA & ASCOM now after a bit of head scratching so putting together a video now, onstep seems to have a few quirks but it has brought a dead mount back to life which cannot be bad. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is lugging the thing downstairs for a first light lol.
