@jwilliamson108 - That's awesome to hear man, glad I could be a part of your audio journey! Yeah, I gave away my van about a month ago, and Richard gave me this :)
Are you going to have to run all your own cables? That would be extra generous! Either way, you deserve it. Look at how much you are influencing the car stereo world. Doesn't come free though. It's hard work and determination that pays. You have it in spades. Congratulations EXO!
Whichever speaker wire has the stripe going down it is the negative - But, if they are both the same color, take a DMM and check the AC voltage while the system is playing - If the voltage reads a positive number, that means your red DMM probe is on the positive wire - If the voltage reads a negative number, it means the red DMM probe is on the negative wire. There you go :)
You got a new car? cool. havent been able to watch all the lastest videos but thanks for all the informative and interesting videos, got a Pioneer TS-W3002D2 being shipped now,all your videos got my bass game up.appreciate it dude
Dang awesome intro video man!!! =) Can't wait to see your build! Love the system he had in here though! Thats awesome you get to bump it for a while till you get your new build going! Glad you got yourself a great "new" ride! =)
Awesome video in every aspect. The beginning was hilarious, and the part where you're leaning against it and make your signature laugh/giggle sound was also quite funny.
@1pipillo1 - Check your grounds behind your head unit, and check to see if your vehicle has a stock amplifier that could be shorting out under all the vibration, or electrical stress.
Nice ride man! I like the goat sound at the end too, lol. Looking forward to a whole new build! I'm working on one myself but more like SQ with a kick. :)
@athikerguy4life it actually isn't a button. It is a throttle cable. In other words he can set his throttle to rev at 2000 rpms and sit there whether or not he is in the vehicle. It is good for competitions.
Hey exo. Just wanted to say. I love your videos. I can't wait till I see what your doing with your new ride. I'm also makeing a new system in my truck. And all ur videos are a great help. Hopefully I get a few videos up.
Should have everything up and ready for next weekend, but as far as the build, that's still a while off as I save up money for the rest of the supplies and gear.
Im rolling off some of the tags this vid has but clearly they fit. Congrats on a ride that matches the style of systems u build. Cant wait to see u install the stroker on in ur sis car. EXOPEDITION
Hey buddy love your videos I have watched them all. I just did a new build and will be posting it up but would like to know what video editing software you use so I can add a little appeal to my videos. Thanks keep the videos coming very educational and entertaining ;-)
@EXOcontralto Its gonna be a beast, thats for sure, many of us, like myself, enjoy the videos you put up, and like myself, people like you have motivated me to start my new project, havent named it yet, lol.but it will be my first big system build, consisting of 4 N2 XL 15s and to start out with 2 DC 7.5ks, so keep a look out, thanks for the motivation...
I will be using birch plywood for this new install - It's lighter, stronger and easier to work with - Only downside it the price - It can be 25 to 35 bucks more expensive that MDF :X
Under the hood looks clean as can be! Are you going to have Dave the box guy build your enclosure for this one as well? It must be nice to have a vehicle worth more than the stereo inside of it eh? Good stuff man... tuned in to see what ya do with this beast. LIKED!
@5usaO - I think that's really cool that you have a whole setup planned out and everything! - But to be honest, I'm really not liking the new SS stuff this year. It looks like they are focusing more on making things look better, and making them for cheaper and cheaper. But that's just my opinion, and that's the reason why I'm not so hellbent on sticking with them if their products continue to degrade, and get less competitive with the other heavy hitting bass companies.
