So just to paraphrase what he just said, "You fear what you don't understand. I am trying to teach your children something that could help them in the future." That speech could have gone a little better, though.
I need to memorize this for an argument. The Christians at my school have started voluntary debates with non-religious people. It's not a bad idea. You can really see what others think and why they think so.
Not all of us. As a Christian, I'm sorry you had to go through that noise. Personally, I want to shout this to my boss. He seems to believe that his way of doing things is still right, even though it's old, outdated and wrong.
@@CountTentacula I'm a Christian who believes in equality and craving knowledge to create an ambition to unite the world. Equality to all and for all gives all mankind a chance to put aside past differences to create unity for the world. Non judgmental helps us to understand the people around us. Ambition allows us to achieve our goals no matter the risks. The point I'm making is we should unite as equals to ensure that the days in revelations never happen.
I always viewed science as a brilliant way of explaining God’s creation. By all means, KEEP DOING SCIENCE! In fact, there are many brilliant minds in the world that are religious! Inventors and researchers alike! In my opinion, anyone who tries to say that religion and science don’t mix is restricting themselves from potential variables
Religion is just an obstacle for human beings to find their own capacities to be happy and growing on this beautiful journey that we call life. What I mean in another way is, don't waste your life for heaven, be happy you're living, once your time has passed, that's it. There's no other life. I might be wrong, but it doesn't mean you have to throw your life away. Now, if you think God makes you happy, go ahead and believe. No one has the right to stop you.
He was among my top favorite characters in this movie. There were like 5 that I liked and all the other people are manipulative, greedy, insensitive, stupid, lazy.... ughh. I was so depressed after watching this movie. It is so true to our society.
How I feel about Americans that pick on races I care about. (I'm an American, I'm not too proud of it after what happened between me and my brother over my Japanese collection)
He is talking about religion. Before times, human beings use to put "God" as a response of all the natural phenomenons, such as: rain; night; thunder; hurricanes; tsunamis, etc. History taught us that religion was used as a tool to keep people submissive, and to segregate different cultures. Now we don't need religion to be good in this world nor fight or hate each other for beliefs. We just got to respect each other so we can live in peace.
It's not about politeness, it's about strategy. You wanna convince people that doesn't know you or your motives. You're never gonna do that insulting them first.
I like how ignorant is being polite. Like ignorance is a lack of understanding but it can be helped with proper knowledge. He then calls them stupid and compares the parents to stupid animals.
Not the way I would have said it, but I do agree with him and have said it before. Sadly, I've been laughed at by both atheists and theists for it. Influencing the minds of the children can create a new world for us all.
