Frankfurt U-Bahn cab ride (Line U5 - Hauptbahnhof to Preungesheim) ~ Train Simulator 

A full-length run up one of the strangest lines on the Frankfurt U-Bahn, starting at Hauptbahnhof and going all the way to Preungesheim. We'll be driving the Flexity Swift U5 train and calling at all stations:

U5 is 7.96 kilometres long, and is a rather unconventional line. It starts with four underground stations before surfacing near Musterschule. Then it runs in the street (like a tram line) for most of its run, which is quite unusual for an underground / metro system. Indeed, prior to 2016, there were four stations which had no platforms at all, so only the Ptb units (old trams with fold-out steps) could be used on the line.
