Frankie Beverly and Maze have left their mark on us. Unforgettable. Beverly is up in age now and depends on the audience singling along because his voice has declined, understandably so for an elder in his 70's. Peace and Love to you Maze.

@@jimmycosey1675 that's horribly untrue. EVERY legend has worked as hard. His voice simply can't take the strain. He probably had throat issues that he never addressed and now it's caught up with him.
This is heartbreaking. He sounds horrible. Its like watching Ali in his last few fights where gets knocked out by lesser fighters. I want to remember him like he sounded at his best. Either change the key so it's not such a strain or just retire. Nobody will be mad. He's given us 40 plus years of amazing music. But in the last few years, he just doesn't have it. Paul McCartney is the same way. Age catches up with all of us and he also insists on singing all those songs in the original key.
