Many radio stations turned down this song because it was to sad. He is very talented I’ve been a fan since I was 9 years old. He got me through high school. And yes he still makes music.

This song always made me cry. This explains my story from beginning to end with my father. I am a daddy’s girl....right now I’m slowly watching my father dying he doesn’t have much time left. I moved in to take care of him.

This song makes me cry everytime. I didnt have a great relationship with my dad growing up and when we were finally fixing it, he got arrested and i get maybe a call once a month if im lucky for the last 3 years

My father was always in and out of my life growing up and I moved across the United States to be closer to him and repair our broken relationship , then he caught covid , I moved him in with me and he seemed to be doing better but then one morning he woke me up at 4 am and illl never forget the sheer fear in his eyes and panic in his voice when he said “Laura please help me “ , then he went silent , he passed away 2 days later , it happened so fast , that was the last thing he ever said to me loosing a parent is so hard

Man I tell ya... nobody convince me otherwise, one of the biggest problems in this country today is how the media will convince you that fathers aren’t necessary in the family. Fatherless homes are a HUGE problem in America. Period. Men, we gotta know how important we are to our families and step up our game. Hold each other accountable, all our brothers.

My daughter was 4 months old when my ex deployed. She was so such a daddy's girl before he left. What we did is I made him wear a few of his shirts, so they smelled like him, and the we used them as her blankets when she was upset. Also this song gets to me. At a few timesin the past I have said these words to my dad. When my parents were talking divorcebI said this. A couple months before my dad passed I said this again. It was all said before I heard this song.

I was Daddy's Little Girl. Even though he and mom divorced when I was young, and he had a few demons to fight, he always did his best for me. Monday (October 21) would have been his birthday if the cancer had been found sooner. Instead we lost him 12/17/18.
