Thank you Mr. Gallagher for giving us the YEAR of this clip in the comments. I guess I was 4 years old. Year does not always appear Ain the title when we’re watching RU-vid clips on our high-end home theaters. Thanks again.

One more thing I over looked that I want to add. I love "Wanted man" . I remember playing that over and over. My son's 23 and he knows so much about the 50's. He loves Elvis . He's introduced me to many new tunes that I would have never known and now there's on my Ipod along with Frakie Laine. : )

I love Frankie and I'm "only" 50. Are you all aware that Mitch Miller is still alive and living up in Buffalo, NY? Amazing. The late 40s early 50s era is a much forgotten period of popular song. Frankie was probably it's biggest vocalist along with a young Tony Bennett, Guy Mitchell, Como, Doris Day, folks like that. Only on clips such as this could one realize what a huge star he was at the time. I saw him on Long Island in 1989 at Lido Beach. He was, of course, marvelous.

@NYVoice I am 49 and I dig. I love, love, love vocalists. I had no idea that they were not known now. Love Doris and Mills Bros and all the stuff from that era. Are we throwbacks? :-D Good! Happy to be one. MULE TRAIN RAWHIDE!!! Get 'em up!!

@NYVoice Your right, this period in our musical history is overlooked and deamonized and I have never been able to figure out why. This was a period when the Singer was the most important not the Band or the group. You might say that the period between 1945 and 1957 is the Lost Generation. Today few know anything about the fifties and the sad thing is they don't want to know.

Your very welcome. This show was never put out by any company for sale. This show I got from someone I knew in England who had it copied from the orginal tape. It was in the British format which is different than ours. So I had to have the VHS tape transfered to our format then I put it on a DVD. I thought A lot of Fans would like to see it.

I was never a big fan, but I know a lot about Elvis. I met him in 1959 when we were both in the army in Germany. I know nothing about Springsteen except I don't think he can sing. I'm the first to admit that my taste in music is limited. I perfer the music of the early fifties but now even the early Rock N Roll sounds good compared to what's out there now.

Totally difference types of voices. Do you know anything about Presley or Springsteen? "Rawhire" is a signature song of Laine's as well as "High Noon". Bruce or Elvis could never do it better. Just like Laine coundn't sing there signature tunes "Born To Run" or "Jailhouse Rock" for some examples. Of course it's subjective but I like them all. Why limit yourself? I like anything but opera and rap. : )
