Fluffy reminds me exactly of how my parents reacted to me getting a job at Red Lobster. Never did I think I'd be sick of those damn biscuits until after I brought home several bags of biscuits a week.
I used to work at Krispy Kreme and they would throw out Hefty bags full of boxes of donuts. Perfectly good, just a day or two old. I gained about two pounds a week for 18 months.
vadim nesen exactly! And make small successes with what you do have, until you’re making bigger successes! Goals people! You have to have goals, and that’s Frankies problem.
I mean, yeah, you could be playing it, but you arent watching for the game, you're watching for the person is what he doesn't get (also, Gabriel effectively admitted that his son has a point, he didn't have a response to the football thing except to cut off the internet) and even then, some of us like watching speedrunners, whenever someone brings up the capabilities of pro football players, I bring up the capabilities of speedrunners
Don't feel bad that is most entertainment! Why do you listen to other people play music instead of doing it yourself? Why do you watch documentaries about history instead of studying it yourself? Why do you watch Gabriel iglesias tell jokes instead of coming up with them and telling them yourself? (Hell yeah I went there XD) People find new things strange is all, that is why i turned the internet off instead of arguing back lol he knew he was put into a corner by his son of all people lol
Easy way to make him get a job. Ultimatum time. "Get a job, or get out". Happened to me back in the 80's. The slowass early 80's. Guess what...i was employed in 3 days. In today's low unemployment and his father's name, he's got options. Pick one. Problem is....wifey sounds like an enabler.
Saulo Gomez nah...#TOOMANYOPTIONS needs to get off the couch for that. Also, mom is an enabler of criminal proportions to his laziness and entitlement. Shit, at 19 I had been working part-time for 4 years in high school. Why? Because my mom said, “You want to be cool and have a car? You pay for all of it.” I had to pay for the insurance even when I was driving her car and didn’t own one. Kids learn how to remove their heads from their asses much quicker when they have responsibilities.
Samsonian Frankie's problem is completely valid, bro, it’s the same problem most teenagers have when they need to decide what major is the best for them: there are too many options! And as most people are born with two type of intelligences, it’s easy to notice why they are going to doubt so much. But yeah, I also think responsibilities since an early age can help Frankie and the other teenagers to decide what they want to do in life, the problem is... their parents. Most parents don’t like to see their children under pressure, and I believe this is pretty the same case (taking into account that Fluffy gave him a whole cake and let him to leave late from house because of the same)
Zer0 challenge yeah, I should just keep it to myself 😏 Can’t tell you how many times I write a whole damn dissertation and delete the effer after spending half an hour on it when I mentally smack myself upside the head saying, “nobody gives a shit or wants your opinion, dumbass!” Know what? Whenever I say that to myself I’m almost always right! I apologize for being a blowhard. Sometimes I get lonely and look for a conversation in maybe not the most productive place...few people in the YT comments section are looking for a 2-way exchange. Cheers, no harm intended!
Part of the allure to Fluffy is he understands the true struggle. He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth and he's had to claw his way to where he is. Respect.
If anyone has depression, I suggest listening to you because you are the best antidepressant available. Your jokes have dried my tears many times so I just wanted to say Thank you ❤
"watching other kid playing games" "He's a professional" That's a point. I can just install the game and play it, but sure enough, I won't get any closer to that pro's skill and that's why I watch it, or may be I could learn some in-game tricks from the pro. TURNS OUT, I'M HERE WATCHING SUDA BEING TOXIC...
Gosh, I wish I could go see Gabriel but unfortunately I'm a disabled veteran with PTSD and I have not yet jumped that hurtle. He will be here in Austin TX this month. 😔 love y'all! Great video 💙🐝💙
Sometimes we forget how valuable it can be to discover your passion in life early on. For me, it was music. At 12, I started playing saxophone just like any other after school hobby. At 16, I was already playing some professional gigs. At 18 (right after graduating high school) I was teaching at my home town's conservatory :)
He’s definitely not a pro, but he doesn’t pretend to be one. He usually states in his videos that he’s not a pro, or that he’s not very good at certain types of games. Plus he goofs off occasionally or adds his own humor. He’s just there for the fun of it, not to be a try hard
"OMG I'm going to get free biscuits" 3:29 lol XD gets me every time. I love this guy best comedian out there no joke. im here supporting you dude you rock!!!
We've all had those moments where our parents walk in on us watching Let's Plays or streams, and boy howdy is Fluffy's reaction just universal. Of course it's silly in concept, but we like seeing others opinions on games or sometimes just watching the games we don't get to play or...to be honest, sometimes we're just too lazy to play the whole damn thing ourselves and just want to skim through parts of it like skipping through a TV show. Not everyone has a hundred hours to dump on The Witcher, so watching someone else do the cool quests is a different way of experiencing it. And it's a much different experience from actually playing it and getting to make those decisions yourself.
I love how he is real. Talks about family, life and makes truth easy to swallow through comedy. To all the comedians out there do what you do best comedy. And who cares what cancel culture says! You make truth easy to swallow!!!
I haven't seen much of Gabriel. I'm home more often these days and get to chill with RU-vid. The few clips I've seen of him are great. Really funny and he is so likeable. Can't wait to have a day off and watch a bunch of his comedy with snackies and a few cold ones. I'm 48 and have never seen a real comedy show, but if he came to Oregon, I'd definitely go see him! Peace out. Thanks for posting this!
Theres something off if Frankie doesnt even think about being a professional gamer himself in this world. But he does have a future as a professional backtalker/comedian.
As a teen I bussed tables at Red Lobster. It was awesome! I'd bus 1 table, take the tray full of dirty dishes to the washers, clean my hands, eat a biscuit then go bus the next table & do it all over again. Since I was only able to work 4 hours on a school day this cycle made it to where I never ate dinner at home because I was already full when I got home which helped with the food budget
I've watched this on Netflix many times and freaking love this special! I hope I'll get a chance to see you when you come to Oklahoma in August! I've been wanting to see Fluffy live for a long time!
I did a similar thing to the spinning wheel with choosing my career. We got this book in school with all job-types you could start an apprenticeship for. I closed my eyes, picked a page. It was electrician. Then i just applied far enough from home to justify a apartment.
@@kirnpu but wait, theres more. I also get child support from my father and the Government for the whole 3 1/2 Years. In Addition to the money i already earn
Love it! Those biscuits are the best! When we went there when my oldest daughter was ten months old she tore into those biscuits. Made a huge mess which I apologized but the kid kept giving our waitress a big grin full of biscuits that they thought she looked so cute and didn't mind the mess around my daughter's high chair.
I've noticed that on every so called funny story involving Frankie, anytime he goes to reprimend the kid his girlfriend goes straight into the he's not your son mode. Call it what you want, that's how I see it. If he's trying to dicipline the boy and he's not being abusive she should back him up not cut him down.
Jose Guzman I agree with you. Overprotective moms cause lots of damage. Fluffy is adopting the boy so he is disciplining him that’s a proof of love. How many women decide to adopt a single parent dad’s kid, very few
My dad did not push me. My sister was frustrated telling him to make me get a job. I took 1 year after graduating to get a job. I have worked in a warehouse, as a truck driver, counter sales, branch manager and assistant branch manager. I am thankful for the old man letting me find my groove.
Hand on heart you make me laugh and relate to things I had forgotten, your ability to create and entertain the masses by your quick wit and natural charm. Sadly (at least the weather's good!) I am in France and have no opportunity to come and see you so I am so so grateful that you put the clips on RU-vid. (Ps, completely in ore of your VW collection!)
"I know about struggling and clawing and fighting" Gabriel says, and everyone loves to think that of themselves. I'm pretty sure Frankie will think that of himself someday too. But let's remember that by 2000 he was already appearing on tv.
Fluffy, my wife and I absolutely LOVE you!!!! We think you are by far the most funny and wholesome comedians that have ever graced the stage!! You’re on hell of an American!! But.... we have bone to pick with you. WHEN THE HELL ARE YOU COMING TO COLORADO!?! WE WANT TO SEE YOU LIVE!!!!
I’m over here taking a class to be able to get work experience and this Frankie kid casually gets a freaking offer at Red Lobster no questions asked....MY BOI
I was similar, but only cause no one would hire me. Took me 8 years of looking, applying, and all that to get my first job. Frankie should be HAPPY that he has so many opportunities. He practically had a job at Red Lobster assured, dropped right into his lap. Yes, I'm still living with my mom at 28, but not because I don't want to move away. Because I can't afford to move away and she can't afford to be without me and my income. He should be happy to be in such a financial situation where he doesn't have to worry about his mom/parents not being able to afford to live in a place without him. He is so privileged, he doesn't realize it. Take him to some less-than-privileged neighborhoods, maybe some from your past. Take him to talk to p people who are struggling. Maybe that will open his eyes and give his as the kick it needs.
Don't ever feel bad about still living at home if you are working, trying to better yourself and helping out with bills. Hell, I'm 44 and had to move back in with my mom about 5 years ago. But it's good that I have because of her age and health she doesn't need to live alone
Frankie being 19 and not having a plan for his life: big brain Me being 11 and having a plan for my life: big brain Edit: I really hate this fucking comment
I wish I could see you in say ten years. I’ve never met someone who stuck with the plan for their life that they had at eleven. I’m curious if you will be the first. Not trying to criticize, just adding my life’s experience to the conversation. What is your plan for your life? I’m actually curious.
Okay I'm sorry but as a person who has put in many applications to places like Red Lobster and NEVER got interviewed for, I would have LOVED that opportunity to be guaranteed an interview!
