Happy throwback Thursday from 2014! Hang out with Fluffy on the web: Website: fluffyguy.com/ Facebook: / gabrieliglesias Twitter: / fluffyguy Instagram: / fluffyguy
It's part of his brilliance really. Especially since most comedians who are as good at impressions as him tend to be only good at that, but he'd be funny even if he was incapable of nailing accents so well.
You Hawaiian? I’ve been in Iowa 97.9% of my life. (Conway Arkansas & Bristol Virginia is where I used to temporarily live, I’ve visited the Omaha zoo [is the 0.1%] in Omaha Nebraska)
I live in Cali and never been to Hawaii. I didn’t understand the local references he said but judging by the crowd reaction I could tell they were really goood and funny
I've never been to Hawaii (yet), but that sounds like a Luau Experience from Disney. And not a Lilo and Stitch Inspired Luau Expereince, because at least everything in that experience would make sense. I'm going this August for the first. Was looking at things to do and thought of this bit.
Right on. Drove a bus in 50 for several years. One of my funny story was informing the tourist that at one time Parker Ranch was one of the largest ranch in the US. Several hundred acers of land was sold off bumped themselves into second. So I asked if anyone knew what's the largest ranch now. After a few seconds later with no replies I informed them it was Hidden Valley Ranch.
Fun fact: at the first "what happens if it rains?" I straight up thought "you get wet". When at the second "what happens if it rains?" he said "hohoh- you gonna get wet" I was laughing hard, it's just something so genuine to hear and say
Think they're cousins. Or they're friends from the nail salon. When they enter at the same time, talking incessantly all the way in to the chairs (until they leave), all the personell sigh, and you can see their shoulders droop.
His accents are brilliant. And "Hawaiian time" is basically "Polynesian time". No matter where you are in the Pacific - Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Cook Islands, Tahiti, even New Zealand - you'll find it to a greater or lesser extent. And at a guess, I'm pretty sure anyone from the Caribbean would say the same. It seems the warmer a place is, the slower and more relaxed things get. Something Northern Hemisphere tourists should make an effort to understand; the holiday will go much smoother! 😆
Like when we get one party, and they say it's at 2 pm. They actually mean it starts at 4 or 6 pm loll. Always gotta go late or you're gonna fall asleep by the time the damn thing starts
I searched "Hawaiians react to Fluffy A real Hawaiian Luau"....then realized....there are no reactions because....this is the real life version of it!!!
-Guide "He says I remind him of his daughter" -Me "well ain't that sweet" -Guide "He calls me his little punani" -Me "Welcome to alabama if he calls his daughter punani"
Real luau’s are hosted on woven palm mats .. on the ground, with people sitting in a long rectangle around the food... The poi should taste like a clove seasoned steak, not the purple bland tasteless pudding you find in common luau’s..
@@taitano12 how did that go, btw? The pig here destroying the banana field now. Gonna get one with a spear gun tonight. Works surprisingly well. Choke Piggy. 🤙
I love that Hawaiians are Still like this! Never stop bein chill, wonderful people. People are SO uptight sometimes. One time, I was gonna meet some dude and he wanted to know Exactly, when I’ll be there. I’m like, “Dude, this ain’t an interview or nothin. We’re hangin out as FRIENDS!” Jeez, luckily I just ditched that sour lime. I like to know when someone’s comin, but you Never Expect them to be there Exactly on time. They could be in traffic. People Everywhere need to have the Hawaiian lifestyle.
People in tropical countries are a lot Luke this regarding time (except in the big cities). Cold climate Europeans are so tight-assed about time (I.e. the Germans).
Yeah...sorry but no. I don't have a shit fit if someone's 30 seconds late but it's simply common courtesy to tell someone when you're going to arrive and to do so. To do otherwise is saying to others that you don't care about their time. Do you do that at work?
michelleprieur1 😹😹 This isn’t woooorrrkk! Haha jeez, you and stacey act like you can just teleport there instead of seeing reality. I’m sayin I told this dude around the time I would be there, but he wanted the exact time, like for example “I’ll be there around 12noon, but he wanted to know 11:55am? 12:01pm? You say you don’t have a fit, yet what if someone was a minute late? Haha jeez, if it’s for business, it makes sense, but if you’re Just hangin out, you ain’t gonna be there Exactly on time because it ain’t business. If you hang out, it’s about no stress. When hanging out, if someone says around 12noon, they mean exactly that. Plus or minus 5 minutes. You shouldn’t Actually arrive At 12noon. Jeez, do you go to parties on time too?
Michael Reisman Channel Haha well, I’m part German and I hate when people are so uptight with time. I like to get there early, but I don’t care if someone’s a little late. Especially since when people are near, that’s when they’re really supposed to tell you. I get if it’s because a movie, or something where time really matters, but Just hanging out? That’s just tightwads who wonder why they can’t find friends. 😹😹
4:10 MAHU word for homosexual. Māhū (Hawaiʻi) in Native Hawaiian culture this refers to an individual who may be considered third-gendered with characteristics of both sexes, usually a male to female. In contemporary Hawaiʻi the word is also used to describe people who are transgender, or gay. Māhūkāne (Hawaiʻi
OMG Such a masterful utilization of accents to anchor in different dispositions for story-telling. "Don't take that tour"!!!!! LOL Shere. Comedic. Brilliance!
@@SwiddyDiddy The idea of finding out what it was never came to me until recently, even after watching it for the first time. I'm not a native of Hawaii, so don't @me for not knowing it. I eventually decided to look it up after that hard core laughter.
Henry Anderson that’s my point though,I’m not Hawaiian either, but I’ve heard it randomly in movies or in conversation and could tell what it meant, no cap on you, just funny to me it’s someone’s first time hearing the word😂
I've been to Jermaines Luau....such an awesome experience. Amazing performances and food. Highly reccomend it it was my favorite part of my trip to Hawaii
@@angelapinya9450 damn it There I was, like an idiot, reading your reply and thinking you were talking about learning Fluffy’s impression skills for halfway through
Gabriel's hair starts turning blue as he goes ssj blue. He gets into position. " Kamehameha" And a perfectly cooked taco sits in front of him. Go fluffy.
