I had the honor of meeting Frankie back stage at music hall in Cincinnati in the early eighties . He cracked up when I had him autograph my shirt on my back I was wearing .he was a god givin sweetheart to talk to. He signed autographs for over an hour before leaving, now that's why he still packs theaters at 90 God bless this man.
Man I love his music back in the day.... here we have Frankie squeezing the last ounce of life out of that body. The audience must be having visions of him back in the seventies and eighties To get through this rather sad show.
Well I thought the show and the talent of the others was amazing. For Frankie having his birthday that day and turning 89 I find it Amazing that he is still able to do what he does.
0:17 is where his real voice comes out due to a track glitch. Actually happens a couple of times. Sounds super rough but he still loves performing and if that’s keeping him going then all the power to him!
This guy is 90 years old and still touring. Either he loves it so much he can't give it up or he's desperate for money. Still, he's providing jobs for all the musicians in the band and the customers appear to be happy.
Yes, he has announced 2024 is end of touring. He will be 90 in May and he just remarried. It's time to get off the touring, one-nighter merry-go-round. What a dedicated entertainer over a remarkable career. He deserves Kennedy Honors or the like recognition, IMO.
Who cares? He's a legend it's an honor to be in his presence. Funny how he does 80 90 concerts a year and has sellouts and people still leave crying and having great memories The man who alleged and leave them alone you'd loser
