Depends on the Si1 or si2 could have black. If you’re going for a centerstone check that it doesn’t have a black and you’re good. VS2 even sometimes has a bit of black on the table. You’ll notice it less on smaller Diamonds obviously. If you can find an si1 or si2 with no black on the center it’s worth a buy. I J K and sometimes L colors with a medium blue flourescence also can face up pretty white if it’s a round brilliant and has a nice make. Also ridiculously less price than D-H colors.

Ol' boy does not know what he's talking about. Cut of the diamond is the most important C of the Diamond "4 Cs." The cut is what makes the diamond fire and brilliance. Color is subjective and it depends on the person and how color sensitive that person is. Some people might not see yellow in a H or I color diamond while others will. Most of these "hip-hop jewelers" (The ones that do sell real natural diamonds.) are not even selling "vvs" diamonds. Their grading is so lenient that they will sell SI1 as VS2 and some might not even have their diamonds listed as a 1 or 2. So their "vvs" diamond might be a VS1 or 2 (Might even be SI1 or 2). I think it's funny that rappers buy diamond out watches from these "jewelers" and not know that the watch is preowned and that majority of that watch is not original (Bezel not original, band not original, etc.) + the diamonds that they put on the watch are almost always of poor quality. If someone wants to buy a watch with diamonds always buy a watch with factory diamonds, because the diamonds are of good quality and the watch will hold its value. I would never buy diamonds that are not graded by AGS or GIA, and if they are small diamonds aka melee diamonds (They don't grade small diamonds.), then I'm buying my melee diamonds from a trusted source and not from some "hip-hop jeweler" who uses rappers to sell their BS. Most of these rappers if not all them don't even own a loupe or don't even know what to look at just as long as it "flicks." Ha! Ha!

Diamonds like anything else are worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them. They are called "worthless" because there is a infinite amount of them and they can also be artificially made in a lab. Also, the price is strictly controlled by one company, De Beers Group. One rule of thumb, by the time you see that everyone(rappers included) can afford an item that was once exclusive, in general that item has become or will become worthless. Kinda like the fed printing to much money.
