0:33 I'm just going to point out that in anime the more cuts to different camera angles a devastating attack has indicates how destructive it is. Most attacks have three cuts. This one had five.
The reason Robin never used this technique on anyone like Doflamingo or Kaido is because it's too overpowered and she could've ended their respective arcs much, much quicker.
With how much training had to be done just for Luffy to hurt Kaido, I feel like he is the sole man powerful enough to be unaffected by this technique, this is the true reason she needs haki
The best part is, this move is actually in One Piece Odyssey. People can say all they want about One Piece Odyssey, but they really did put a lot of love into it... I mean, I wouldn't have thought to turn a one-time gag like this into an actual attack. Not the most useful attack thouh, as it doesn't work on a lot of enemies anyways.
“Uh orange?!” Frankly of the past: “I’m sure leaving this part of me human when I can work on it won’t come back to haunt me.” Little did he count on Robin using a technique she’s been waiting to use since Crocodile. But she couldn’t because he was made of sand.
I see what you did there. Also she couldn't use this on Aokiji because: 1) He's her benefactor and she owes him her life. 2) He's a Logia so it wouldn't have worked.
From "I'm crying over a ship" to "I'm crying for a bunch of guys in goofy armor and a wholesome dude with his hairy @ss exposed." This is the true One Piece experience.
One Piece is hilarious for many reasons, but this scene plus the huge revelation that she only squeezed them once to hide his true pain; this killed me when I saw it for the first time
Luffy and Chopper screaming "ouch" it's the most realistic thing ever. We guys feel like telepathic pain when we see another guy get hurt in the balls.
I finished catching up to one piece around this time last year but this was probably the funniest scene for me. I was absolutely out of breath laughing.
The fact I'm pretty sure Robin can feel through those hands and she willingly did this kind of makes it worse. Also love how even Chopper is like "Oh nah" and he ain't even human. The pain is universal across species.
Franky's very lucky, if you think about it. Robin could have (and would have) done a more intense version of this when Franky got out of Chopper's body.
