Frans Lanting is always a pleasure to listen to, in addition to viewing his incredible images. He has inspired me for years, and it is great to be able to continue the journey with him on this B&H platform. However, B&H, please don't skip the images. Yes, we all know Hokasai's "great wave" image, but to have not shown Frans' image as he talked about this was a real bummer. I'm sure that there is an explanation for this other than "oops!". If you have that footage, please consider re-editing and re-posting this segment. I'm writing this comment half-way through the video and I hope that I don't encounter more omissions. Thanks, and great to have access to the conference since I was not able to attend "live".
What is it about a photo/video company, known world wide, that keeps doing a video presentation where they don't switch the camera from the speaker to what image they're talking about when they say, "here's a picture from...."
The events are wonderful, exceptional. But the presenters deserve much better - the overwhelming background and terrible lighting aren't what we'd naturally expect from a leading institution in media such as B&H. I'm not irate - Lord knows I've no right to be - just hoping for stepwise improvement.
I know right! I am grateful for B&H videos. But they are the experts in videos, cameras and lighting. Hope they could step up their production quality.
A great photographer now driven by a great cause. We are lucky to have them - Lanting, Salgado, Wolfe, et. al. When you love nature, you want it to be there for a thousand years more.
