Fransgard winch brake adjustment 

I had to lube the winch shaft again, have to do it once or twice a year if I dont I have to keep tightening the brake bar to keep cable from winding in by itself, but when I do that the cable pulls out harder, I think its a poor design. The reason why the winch shaft needs to be lubed on Fransgard is the winch drum free floats on shaft when free spooling, then when the rope is pulled it cams the winch drum against the clutch disc then the trees are winching in. This time here I'm trying spray on Lithium grease, see how that works. Also I got tired of looking for a wrench to ajust the brake so I welded on a couple big washers so I can adjust by hand, I'll see how works to
