adoro el tono de su voz, el fondo es muy original sin embargo es muy sweet me encanta como tocan este tipo de indie.... y la canción es muy buena resumieron la vida como si fuera un bowl de fresas :0 x----x los amo... hablan de la monotonía, las reglas sociales que asfixian al ser humano en vez... de cumplir con sus sueños... y que hacen se dañan se frustran... personas que caen drogas... o quieren suicidarse, la solución es hacer lo que amas y ya.... no es solo perder el tiempo, este disco es muy bonito de verdad.

I didn't even like take me out and it was made worse that everyone jumped on liking it when it came out, so I stupidly didn't really listen to their other stuff. Great mistake though, because when I started listening to them, i had all their music to go through

@@amaracea i think take me out is the easiest for you to remember the lyrics, so that is why it is the most popular. It is the most "easy to sing" song for Franz Ferdinand. I really like fresh strawberries, no you girls, walk away, and even i find it hard to remember the lyrics and sing the song. But this is just a personal opinion though. No mean to disrespect #peace

Very symbolic and esoteric; a video Franz would definitely make. It seems that their music and videos are becoming more and more complex as the band continues, straying from their earlier lively and energetic productions. Nevertheless, an interesting and intriguing video. Btw, if anyone cares to know what this video (perhaps) means, I think that the song, as metaphorical as it is, is sort of self-explanatory in it's theme, and that this video exemplifies this theme just the same. The song and this video especially, show how people in the world are just living their lives day by day, with feelings of dissatisfaction and a lack of accomplishment; however, they continue their unhappy lives without changing them until the point when they eventually die, as shown at the end of this video.

Rock Videos I'd guess that they didn't want to be celebrities - just artists. Plus they were micromanaged to death by the media & other powers during the time of the 2nd & 3rd albums, since they couldn't rise as high as Beyoncé by being a brand. Alex' feud with Liam & Noel Gallagher also didn't help matters - I wonder if that was all Lexxo's doing out of jealousy & insecurity? Does Alex regret it, or doesn't he care anymore? Meanwhile, Noel & Dave Grohl have been making friends with everyone who's had plenty of musical success; very few of those people only want to hang out with A & B listers. Matt Bellamy has been among those crowned princes, especially thanks to fawning peers like Bruce Springsteen By the way: check out FFS' music. Hope you can appreciate it.

Would somebody share their thoughts on the meaning of the video?? I have my own opinion...i think that the camera movements (going from left to right and viceversa) are like that because you are "stuck" on a life in wich you can't move on, i also think that's why Bob gets all dusty ( he sits in the same chair everyday at work) , i think Nick has a huge headache ( that's obvious due to the alka-seltzer) Paul is f***ing bored ( come on he is burning himself , probably he is kind of suicidal as well) and Alex goes back and forth not knowing what to do ( probably he is thinking of killing himself as well but we get that strugle until the end cause they let us know with the hanging rope)...but what do you think???

Yeah what you're saying makes sense; this video can have so many different interpretations because of all the things happening in it. I think Nick is portrayed in the video as one of those men who are depressed/dissatisfied with their lives because something bad happened that caused their lives to go downhill (in this video's case, I think it was family problems because he was looking at photo albums several times). Still...I question what Paul is supposed to represent. And like you said, I think Alex was (unfortunately) was supposed to represent people who are questioning killing themselves (perhaps). Franz's videos have never before been so deep!

I died for Beauty but was Scarce. that is the emily dickinson poem. I believe the poem is about the perspective of two people rotting in the grave and watching as they are being forgotten. Even if the lines aren't exactly the same as in the song...i would still like to believe that they are referencing the poem.
