5:36 Schubert sometimes sounds sooo modern.

il secondo movimento ha un tema che Schubert ha ripreso anche altrove ma non riesco a ricordare dove: in un lieder?

1:53 cannot be appreciated at first... He reduces, further and further and then takes the turn "up" back to A minor. But later on at 4:09 he comes again at this point, reduces, further and further and this time falls down into a dreamy cycle in major.

А. Брендел - просто вершина, Наш козырь. Он играет Шуберта, а не себя, тихо и умно. Здесь как бы сам Шуберт сидит за пянофортем

is it just me or compared to beethoven, chopin, mozart and bach, schubert can sound a bit too boring to continue listetning to at times? or is it the bottle of red wine I just finished drinking making me think such a preposterous thing! ahahah cheers anyway merry christmas
