Fraser Island has been a long time favourite holiday destination for our family. The fishing options, especially land based for the whole family are brilliant!... The weather... well... you've just gotta book a spot and hope for the best! This year we weren't so lucky. TC Seth was on its way!
The gear used in this video included:
Lauren's combo 2500 Shimano Sienna Combo 3-5kg 7'2 rod.
My combo for fishing Waddy Point 3000 Shimano Vanford and BB Hard Rocker rod.
10lb PowerPro braid and 10lb leader.

Living the dream eh mate, the island looks beautiful, you should go to Burketown for a fishing trip some day, you won’t be disappointed and maybe I’ll have the chance to meet you, love the content mate, it always finds a way to put a smile on my face, keep it up👍

I’m hearing ya Jas. My family heads there at manic month each year so it’s not ideal, we do still head across to some quiet spots or offshore but when that weather is blowing, everyone has the same idea and it can be a punishment of sorts for sure. Fraser without the crowds is def. Ideal

If you want better quality fish and know what you’re doing, lures can do the trick for sure mate. Livies though are hard to beat and great fun with the family
