According to some ancient writings, Lilith was the first wife of Adam. She and Adam got into a fight and she left the Garden of Eden and became a female demon. The Wicked Queen in Snow White, Maleficent, The White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia and many other evil women in literature are all representations of Lilith.
The fact that these two can still launch quick jabs at each other and still make each other laugh is just sweet comedy... i miss good sitcoms there are none besides this anymore...
I loved the gag of Lilith not knowing who Alan is. Both on the meta level that he's a new character and for tying it back to how on Cheers, Frasier and Lilith had a social circle that never touched the bar.
Yeah it took me a bit to get the "joke within a joke" but that was well done. Because we're all saying about Frasier's best friend, that we've never seen before, "Who are you?" LOL
yes that was it, she made a character have zero pesonality, and made it fun. and I agree, really funny!! always a treat when she was on a Frasier episode.
Is there something wrong with her voice here? It sounds strained in some way. Coukd be advancing years, I suppose, but usually singers are very protective of their voices.
I loved the way Frederick takes sip of his beer while not letting what his parents say to one another ruin his evening he may be the most normal one in that family truth
Me too. That one line hooked and reeled me back to watching Frasier!! I have the old series in it's entirty on DVD and watch it every night before bed. I vowed I wouldn't watch this reboot for fear of it tainting the original series. But after that one line..... I'm back. I wish they could get the old writers back. This could seriously work.
Mandate to the writers' room: We need 100 Lillith insults from Frasier, 100 Frasier insults from Lillith, and 100 jokes about Alan's suit from each of you. We'll narrow it down from there.
Do really hope that people across the pond watch Nicholas Lyndhurst in our greatest British sitcom Only Fools and Horses, great comic actor . Love the new Frasier
A lot of folks dont like the reboot. I for one, am loving this. Folks Kelsey and Bebe have still got it! The writing isnt quite as goid bit its still better thsn 90% of whats out there!
Love Nicholas Lyndhurst. Hope he gets popular in America now and hopefully they check out Only Fools And Horses 🐴❤ that's our Rodney or should I say "alright Dave" 😂
I remember Nicholas Lyndhurst from another BBC comedy (After You've Gone, 2007-08) that aired on our American PBS stations here recently. His off-the-cuff deadpan humor is spot on to Fraser's quips!
Ok, They got me with..."Who said your name Three times" I laughjed so hard I nearly spit out my coffee. I stopped the video right there. I think I will watch it from the series from the beginning.
@@Benjiesbeenbetter. The worst thing is I remember him as a child actor (in the Prince and the Pauper). I'm not THAT old, honest - albeit I see only 4 years younger than he is.
I guess that phone call that Frazier made to Lilith in the original Frasier must have been a dream then because unless something happened off screen they were somewhat passed all this or so I thought...
This show should be on regular TV for those who dont have the money to pay for Peacocks tv app. I have watched Cheers when Lilith and Fraiser first met and married and had Frederick, to Fraisers awesome sitcom. Please put this on regular TV for us. I would love to watch it.
I just keep remembering, Cheers established that when Frasier dies, he and Lilith were married. One episode ended on a cut to the distant future, at the reading of Frasier's will at his attorney's office (and the attorney mentioning that Frasier was her late husband), where a mix-up meant that the attorney pulled out and read a letter about Sam Malone's sperm count to Lilith and Frederick. . .and Lilith going "that damn bar" in response. In a Doctor Who sense, their eventual reconciliation is a "fixed point in time". Watching the sniping, the back and forth. . .when you've literally already watched the last chapter in that timeline and know it eventually ends with them reconciling.
Who's looking after the children that were lured to your gingerbread house! LOL!!! I haven't seen the new Frasier. Is the writing as good as the old one?
I literally see the entire seasons of Frasier every year or two.....so I'm not interested in this Frasier only version. Saw the first two episodes and......I will not be watching this series. If they brought the other characters....yeah, I would.
Yeah, no, I'm sorry, this is just lazy and inconsistent. Lilith and Frasier had become very amicable and comfortable with each other last time we saw them. This just feels like a retcon for cheap callback jokes.
Nicholas Lyndhurs has had a great a fantastic career in uk from early days since the 70s from tv comedy butterflies right to 80 -90s but recently in last 5 yrs or so had to cope with a death in the family which he took very badly and recently just been seen on frasier. i hope he goes down well with the in this comedy and goes on to do well that he deserves to . good luck mate
❤❤❤🎉🎉. The original Frasier was iconic! I enjoyed every character! They bounced off each so quickly and they all seemed to just fit so well! Martin Crane ( John Mahoney) is missed. Roz and Daphne and Niles and Frasier were all well in sync. This show? Nope. It seems somewhat empty...
why is the dummy watching toast regardless of if it has butter 🧈 or not 🚫😂 take this fool out to dinner and they'll be staring at their food 🥑 all night 🌉😅
It's a situation to extract comedy out of, he's his best friend (Of his student days and now) until he's with his best friend from previous episodes, it plays with the dynamics!?!
