Introducing Team RUSH's 2024 robot for CRESCENDO! Thank you to all our sponsors, parents, students, and mentors for making this possible, you are all ROCK SOLID! For more information, visit our website or social media: www.teamrush27.net
Looks great! What type of fasteners are you using to hold the sheet metal pieces together at 90 degree angles? They can be seen at 0:58 in the video but I don’t think I have seen fasteners like that before
Those are t shaped slots on the horizontal sheet metal pieces that retain a low profile 6-32 lock nut. There is a clearance hole on the vertical sheet metal pieces in line with the t shaped slot for a 6-32 bolt
The black wheels are REV MaxWheels and the front right is a set of brass tube on 3D-printed hubs. The brass is smaller diameter and doesn’t actually contact the note (for spin purposes) but creates a similar inertial system.
@@salvadorebertolone As a 27 alum who spent all 4 years on chassis, it’s amazing to see how far yall have come with the serve implementation since I graduated! Great work guys! (And hi Sevi it’s Brandon! Great to see you’re back with 27 once more!)
