Hitting with the Nation is out again testing all the hottest slowpitch bats.
Today we are hitting the:
2023 Miken Freak 9R, 2023 Axe Avenge Pro, and the Anarchy Prototype.
Hitting: Misael Tavarez and Cole Campbell
We are rating these bats in four catagories;
Feel, Sound, Pop, Durability.
Scores are:
Miz- Freak 9R 8.75, Avenge Pro 8, Prototype 8.13
Cole- Freak 9R 8.38, Avenge Pro 7.75, Prototype 8.25
Big thanks to Miken and Klutch for the bats to review.
Sorry to Justin Black for getting cut off. I had a ton of computer issues and this video almost didnt make it out at all. It's getting fixed and pressing forward.

I absolutely love my Prototype, mine is a 27 with .5 el. Less than 100 swings and it’s insane!

I have not put down my axe avenge flared since I got it. Straight ⛽️

If you can get used to the axe flared knob, the bat is absolute gas. It took me a few swings to get used to it, but I like a cuff on my bats and to me it doesn't feel much different. My 3 gamers right now is the axe flared endload, genny sanchez and the demarini standard issue. I haven't been a fan of any of the newer miken/worth stuff, though I haven't swung the Riley. I see a ton of conference guys swinging it so I'm assuming it's probably for a reason.

Cole, Though you are a worth and miken guy (like myself) it’s nice to see you swing other products and share your thoughts on them. When guys like Bradley Jones stops swinging his signature bat to swing the JR9, that tells me it’s a good bat.

Once I realized you can hit with 90% of the axe barrel I changed my hands a lil and it feels way better. 🔥

Turning the bat 180 is testing the same region. The tester compresses both sides on each test. Rotating a quarter turn tests the untested region. Please tell me this is a joke. Have you had your bats tested at tournaments?! If one side fails they quarter turn it and if that region is good it passes

I was told that as well. Funny though it would come up with different numbers on a 180 turn most times. But I started do quarter turns in other videos. And yes every tournament I play the bats get tested. They test once. Pass or fail
