Damn bro I’ve raced nothing but DE 350z but they are slow af I wanted to take on an hr after seeing this I think I’m good for now lol I’ll take on a 350hrz later when I get faster lol
Yeah man without my passenger it probably would’ve been a little closer so we’re gonna have to try again. But yeah even though I lost I still gotta give you guys good content 🔥
It’s a hr I have one I raced a tuned civic with exhaust , intake headers all that , my Hr is stock , he kept up with till till 3rd and then started falling behind
Not to rain on your parade but I own a 06 civic and I got a stock hr. There’s no competition here regardless whether being an si or not the Hr is is too quick for that. Hr’s compete against v8’s not no small 4cyl
nah man I own a hr and mine is fbo and tune and its pretty quick. ill hang with a 2010 camaro ss intake, exhaust and i stick with him until about 120ish from a 40.
Idk if it is that much faster than DE. I've seen stock 350 hr and DE race and the hr is a bit quicker but not by a huge margin from what I've seen. Looking up other 350 hr vs 8th gens they don't get walked that fast. They hold out for about 2 gears. Idk what is up with his HR. Good runs besides that.
They are pretty quick stock, should be able to drop into 13s, considering a DE can do 14.1 stock. And stock those Hr Z's and G's do well from a roll. What does the civic trap in the 1/4?
Best time is 14.001 and that’s with street tires and stock header. Haven’t run it on the current setup with slicks but could probably trap a 13.3-13.5 with my Header, cams, and some slicks
@@staticspeedtuning my best time in my G35 de stock was 14.1 with a 98-99 trap speed and a HR would have a higher trap than what my DE did. HR manual 350z would definitely be quick from a 40 roll with the powerband and high rev limit. any that still a good number for your Civic, what's all done to it? Which engine, 2.4 or 2.0?
Makes me feel good that I beat an HR nismo in my 10th Gen Si with only the phearable tune and intake....I thought the Si would have atleast kept up...shit got gapped hard
Just so you know Hr’s make around 265-270whp stock, thats about 30-40whp more than the De’s haha ive beaten FBO Admin tuned De’s in my Completely Stock Hr with just weight reduction lol i spammed some of the replies in your comment section so my bad 😅 but people just dont realize its a BIG difference between an hr and a De. The Hr’s are only .2 seconds slower in the 1/4 mile compared to 370z’s
For real there’s a huge difference between the two that I was not aware of. I’m used to the Honda world where full bolt ons and a tune gets you about 60whp gain. Obviously not the same for the DE’s because I have also walked FBO Tuned DE’s so that’s why I thought this would be cake.
HRs are faster than a DE, but a decent running DE isnt as slow as people think. A good running one should dyno 240-250 whp stock. My bone stock DE g35 coupe 6mt with full interior was still running a 14.1 1/4 mile with over 150,000 miles on it. But you see more videos of bolt on DE cars gettin beat badly by 14 sec cars. So now everyone forgot what they run in good condition. The manual HRs with a driver should go into 13s stock.
@@siknin1 03-05 Regular De’s Dyno at 230ish whp the 06 model Rev-ups are at 240ish whp and the Hr’s are around 265-270whp. The Vhr’s are at 280ish whp with the Nismos making about 290ish whp (350hp stock)
@@DaytonaBlueHr I been around the forums for years. Seen videos of some low 13s posted from HRs and VHRs Zs. Some stock DEs Zs were hitting 13.6-13.8. Seen a stock DE G35 do a 13.8 as well. Modded DE (rev and non rev)were running low 13s. I know VHR and HR is faster and have a higher mph in the 1/4 making them better for roll racing. I’m just saying now It’s modded/tuned DEs barley faster than stock cause people ragged them out so bad and it’s sad. Now people really think a stock DE only makes 230whp and runs 14.7s
This came up in my feed again. Yeah i picked up an 07 hr a few months ago fbo and gutted and tuned on uprev making about 320whp. That 350 does not seem stock at all lol wish it was that fast stock. This video is what it looked like when i had my cousin race my stock honda against my 350.
@@BunnyBUNGALO yea Hrs are faster than DE’s. But a good running stock DE should be low 14s. Mine did 14.1. So Modded and tuned a DE hits 13s. If not then something is wrong with the DE.
The reason I’m wondering is because he had nitrous on his G35 and you couldn’t tell by looking at the engine bay but yeah it could be stock I was just very surprised
Yeah man I had no idea how fast the HR’s were because full bolt on and tuned DE’s we’re getting eaten up for breakfast by my civic but wow I have to say I’m impressed with what they did with that HR motor
