As a kid, this was a fever dream of a movie that inspired many nightmares. As an adult, this is a fever dream of a movie that really makes me wonder what the hell my dad was like.
Fantastic Special Effects, but the comedic writing deserves special kudos, both for the obvious jokes and the subtle ones (seriously, the hammer backstory, frog man reveal, and the whispers during bearded ladys backstory had me rollin)
I wasn't that old in the 90s but old enough to know how 90s this movie is. It's also funny how the studio executives wanted to shelve it as being too weird, thus missing the entire point. Some of my stoner roommates in college loved it.
Outside of Matrix and John Wick, Don't Forget Devil's Advocate with Al Pacino, Constantine, and A Scanner Darkly with Woody Harrelson and Robert Downey Jr.
Holy crap. I mean, I could have checked the credits…. But I cannot believe I didn’t catch this!😂 Edit: I’m seeing he was uncredited so I don’t feel as bad now
This is so weird!!! Paul lind?? The dude was dead since the 80s that was so wierd! Lol. This would probably do well today. This movie had a ton of celeb cameos. This is like a live action cartoon with tons of satire
What is this? Mr T as a bearded lady?! Bobcat Goldthwait as a sock?! Keanu Reeves with a Spanish accent?! Also the eternal flame and frog boy are just hilarious. This film is just so many levels of stupid.
