Its funny i was thinking along the same thing...lol..ive always wondered myself.. He was/is very creative when it comes to his art and other things i always thought and also made some truly unique good music...i to this day listen to Limp Bizkit just about daily as does my son, i always catch myself saying to people some of his music and songs are classics man never get old...matter of fact i think some get better the older i get...ive never understood as big as he was and as good one of the best live bands ever to rock it how they just fizzled away the way they did...sucks! I googled Buckethead - he looks like a goddamn goof. I listen to music of almost all genres, but I DON'T listen to horseshit novelty musicians or people who feel the need to dress up with masks and KFC buckets on their head. It's a gimmick that only appeals to dummies, and it repels anyone who takes music seriously. Did ANY of the greats or even the semi-greats feel the need to dress like retards and clowns while they're performing? Fuck no. Their music was true and inspired and people listened to it because of it. The problem now is that it's no longer about the music - it's about the image, or the sex appeal, or the circusry and bullshit. One of my main beefs with Durst and Limp Bizdicks is that years ago they held cross country auditions looking for their new guitarist. In the city I used to live they made hundreds of guitarists wait out in the cold and rain - for hours- while they fucked off inside their tour bus. It's bad enough they released the horrible, fad 'music' that they did. Then they had to go and be assholes about everything. Fuck these guys.
