I can't even imagine how George must've felt when he lost his Twin Brother. 😭😭

Seeing george and ron hug and crying i honestly felt so bad fred was like the best duo with george

Imagine all the teachers seeing them self’s outlive their students 😭. Imagine professor McGonagall seeing Remus and Fred, two of her most mischievous student, dead. Imagine professor sprout seeing tonks, a student that belongs in her house, dead. 😭 😭

“The dead lay in a row in the middle of the Hall. Harry could not see Fred’s body, because his family surrounded him. George was kneeling at his head; Mrs. Weasley was lying across Fred’s chest, her body shaking, Mr. Weasley stroking her hair while tears cascaded down his cheeks.” “Harry had a clear view of the bodies lying next to Fred: Remus and Tonks, pale and still and peaceful-looking, apparently asleep beneath the dark, enchanted ceiling.”

You have to imagine what it’s like for the teachers, watching their students died the break in between and just seeing how many they had lost because they had seen a lot of them grow up.

So devastating how Molly, still processing her own grief, is stroking Fred's hair while also trying to comfort Ron by stroking his hair.

when Harry rolled onto the floor from hagrids arms and you can see Ron, hermione and all that happy. You can see in the background George turn to look at Fred to tell him only noticing that he’s not there anymore. 😭

The aftermath of the battle if Hogwarts was terrible, but killing one of the twins of the wealsleys had just gone too far

I like how Lupin is not quite touching his wife's hand, just like earlier in the film

At Fred's funeral, George wrote on a goodbye letter "Remember when we tried putting our names in the Goblet of Fire, and it backfired on us? I'm sorry that was the only time we got to see each other old"

I think the part that hurts the most is knowing that George has never known a life without Fred and now he has to live the rest of it without him.

Can we appreciate Molly and Arthur's strength here they just lost their son and instead of breaking down they stayed strong and consoled their other children

I heard the actor that played Fred said he actually fell asleep during that scene when he laid down

The fact that Tonks and Remus’s hands were reaching out for each other before they died and they never ended up touching 💗🥺😭

I still remember when I read those last pages. When I came to that part I thought I read it wrong. I went back and read the paragraph again. Yep.. they have been off screened. A young woman and a lone wolf who found each other, fell in love and had a newborn son. Two people very dear to Harry, laid dead.

Fred's death was devastating to everyone, but I feel like Lupin's death hit Harry the hardest. Even though Sirius was his Godfather, Lupin was a very close family friend, and in a lot of ways like an Uncle. This was made crystal clear when Lupin was one of the four who appeared to Harry when he used the Resurrection Stone. It can only "bring back" those its owner loved dearly.

For George, any normal mirror is the mirror of Erised.

Imagine in Fred’s Funeral George asks everyone to leave for a few minutes,then Fred wakes up and then said, “Best Prank Ever “.

Ron's cries were painful in this one

I’m a twin and I can’t even think about living without my twin without crying. It would break me. Fred’s death hit the hardest because of how distraught George must be.

I can’t stop crying at Fred Weasley’s death, when I first saw the movie, I thought Fred and George were inseparable, like everyone else, I just can’t imagine them being seperate.

I think it’s a testament to Arthur’s character that he chooses to hug his sons and put on a strong face instead of taking this time to grieve himself. He really puts his family first

Well, as long as we're all sad, I might as well add to it. When Molly Weasely was up against a boggart, it took the form of her children's (and Harry's) corpses. However, when it turned into Fred and George's corpses, it did so with the two together. So even in Molly's worst nightmares, the twins weren't seperated.

Can we take a moment to see Geroges reaction when he sees Ron, he literally needs to hug him because he is still alive.

Fun (Sad) Fact: A lot of people think Ginny was more distraught by Harry’s death then Fred’s but actually even tho she didn’t show it she was more distraught by Fred’s. You could see her just standing there like she’s paralyzed she was most likely in shock

The way Molly strokes both Ron and Fred’s hair kills me. She just lost a son and is probably going through the most unbearable grief imaginable but she’s taking the time to help her other children grieve their brother as well... it’s always been a touching moment for me

Fact: The actor who played George wasn't acting in this scene, he was actually crying because he couldn't imagine loosing his brother. Edit: Jeez why ya'll mad?? I know what acting is, I just said this because...ummm why not?

When everything in the wizarding world gets as dark as it can possibly get, the twins are always able to provide much-needed laughter. The two understand the power of comedy amongst all of the darkness and their choice to open up a joke shop in the middle of the horror surrounding them is perhaps the most necessary relief in the entire series. The fact that the Weasley twins represented such a positive source of light throughout all eight films is what made it so difficult for fans to grasp Fred's death. How will George go on without his one true partner in crime? The thought is almost too much to bear. Yet according to Dumbledore, happiness can be found in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light. Fred always remembered to turn on the light.

I feel incredibly bad for Harry here.. you can tell that he feels responsible for everyone who has died but it was not his fault 🤍

sad fact: when george looked into the mirror of erised he saw himself with both ears then looked away disgusted but he then realized that it was fred :(

I don't think people take notice of just how much Mcgonagall cares about Harry. If you go back and watch the movies she was stern with him at times, but almost always treated Harry with respect and kindness and grew to truly love him. In *_Sorcerrer's/Philosopher's Stone_* she was the first to recognise Harry's potential In Quidditch and complemented his ability to defeat the Troll in the girl's bathroom, In *_Goblet of Fire_* she was the only one who didn't look onto Harry with confusion or disgust when his name was called for the Tri-Wizard Tournament and in this movie she not only stood with Harry against Snape, but also amongst all the death and destruction around her in this scene, she still tries to walk over and comphort Harry and Harry alone.

The movie really got the reveal of their deaths better than the book did. The book spaced them out, gave us time to digest one tragedy then the next. The movie just devastates us with Fred's death and then shows that Tonks and Lupin died too. Like a sadness double whammy

Rupert is an amazing actor in this scene! You can hear the anguish in his crying as he looks at Fred!!

Tonks and Remus' death always made me incredibly sad for a number of reasons, mostly because of their son, because Remus had finally gotten a glimpse of true happiness and his life after the war could have been so much better and Tonks wasn't even supposed to be at the battle but she decided to go and find Remus

That must have been a horrible feeling for Harry. Walking amongst all those corpses and realizing that they all died for you. He must’ve felt so guilty.

Cedric Diggory Death: Oh that’s sad... Dumbledore Death: NOO! WHY? Dobby Death: NOO! Animal cruelty! HE RISKED HIS LIFE STOOPID BELLATRIX! Fred Death: NOOO! YOU CAN’T OF! YOU’VE RUINED THE REST OF MY LIFE AND GEORGE’S LIFE! Why did you not make him a ghost at least? IM GOING TO CRY FOREVER! *Cries* Poor George... Whoever didn’t cry when Dumbledore, Dobby or Fred died has no soul.

0:54 George is hugging his father, crying. 0:56 He grasps his younger brother, hugs him, and cries even harder. 1:06 He hugs his elder brother, still crying. All of these people try their very best to comfort him. Nothing will be the same again for this young man, who just lost his twin brother and best friend/companion in an explosion. It may not have been as emotional as it was in the book, but Fred's death was still portrayed well in the movie.

I can never get through this scene without crying. Seeing Ron crying over Fred's dead body is just heartbreaking.

Harry's expression was awesome that he also felt that all was happening at hogwarts was because of him.

The sad fact is: students, teachers, allies and house elves all died on the basis that Harry needed more time. Imagine walking into that hall, witnessing the horrors all around of those that passed or wounded, then having to carry that on your shoulders.

Lets just all thank him for teaching Harry the Patronus Charm that helped him to fight Dementors. Remus is one of the marauders and he did his job perfectly, which is to help and protect Harry. RIP, Werewolf dude👍

When they filmed it Oliver Phelps (George Weasley) had to leave because he couldn’t stand watching his brother pretend that he was dead.

Fred’s death was always the most heart breaking to me. Like how George must’ve felt after. Having someone your attached to the hip to your whole life and then suddenly they’re gone. It hits deep.
