Fred Wesley is one of the hottest jazz, blues, and funk soloists out there. It is amazing that a high school was able to get him for its Jazz Fest!

Now you listen to the popular music today and then listen to this and tell me who the real musician is. I think that you will find that pure awesomeness, such as this, will ALWAYS prevail. This was straight up and pure no synthesizing or auto tuning just jazz.

This man is unbelievable and one of my jazz heroes. I one day hope to achieve something around his standard. ^_^ but yes, his solos are the best, better than mine are of course. Woot for Fred!

Yeah, what IS the song he's playing to? Man, this guy could play to any jazz and blow the world apart with his trombone...aka, he's really good. The best I've seen.

You are jokin right? Fred is the man He set the standard on the Bone being in the forefront. Not sayin Ron is not good but don't ever put Fred down like he is a regular player. James Brown bands are just down right wild and grueling with dance steps not just standing there playin.

That's not the pentatonic scale. He's not playing some chinese song up there. That's straight up blues scale.
