Freddie Gibbs on if There Will be an Alfredo 2 with The Alchemist 

Bootleg Kev tryna speak that "Alfredo 2" into existence lol. Wouldn't mind hearing another installment. Alfredo is a flawless five mic album. That project Gibbs did with Currensy and Alchemist, Fetti, that came out a few years back, is also excellent. Freddie and Alc have great chemistry. I'll give Currensy the credit for making single-producer projects a thing again. Those 2009-10's projects he did with Alchemist, Harry Fraud etc re-popularized that idea, again, of having one producer do a whole album. Roc Marci's projects, recently, with Alchemist and Dj Muggs, are a couple of my favs, along with Nas & Hit-Boy's KD series.

Freddie Gibbs, Pusha T, and Black Thought's current form make the pain of the premature deaths of Biggie, Pac, Big L, etc sting so much more. Imagine how good those guys wouod be if theyd gotten the chance to age well and even become better lyricists and improve their technical skills over time.

Its crazy how he has so many good Producers on SSS but somehow I just feel like its not as focused and potent as Alfredo or Piñata or Bandana. SSS is still. Great addition to an already amazing Discography. But in my opinion. Piñata, Bandana and Alfredo are just in different Galaxies quality wise.

Black Illuminati with Jadakiss and Ice Cream with Rick Ross weren’t on $$$. Personally I would have switched BI with Strife and Pain, but I loved $$$. Just shows you how much music he really was making. I think he should just record at a slower pace. Make it work at his pace. I can wait 5 years considering he was dropping every 2 or so years with fantastic projects, Bandana of which is my personal favorite But also, he’s doing these 10+ song projects: what about a 4 or 5 song ep here or there? I mean that’s often Alchemist’s bread and butter (pun intended)
