It's so insane to me how heavy his accent is. This is my first time hearing him in anything other than The Good Doctor. It definitely caught me off guard but that just means he is an amazing actor.
Here in the UK his accent would be called "well spoken", very neutral as somebody else has already commented. There are many regional accents around the UK and sometimes even we Brits struggle to understand some of the strongest ones.😀
@@brittaniemerrick1044 Yes, there are a whole load of them, the "Scouse" accent which somebody refers to in another comment is the name of the accent from Liverpool, where the Beatles came from.🎸👍
I have an autistic son, and this is the first interview ive seen of him. He is an incredible actor. I wonder what research he did prior to his role becauee he is absolutely incredible.
I'm in season 3 of the good Doctor and I looked this up to see if he's autistic in real life. Far out! He's nailed the role. What an outstanding actor.
Wtf lmao 🤣 I'm on season 3 ep 5 right before his first lead surgery and I had to stop and look up if he's autistic for real as well lol 😂 my jaw dropped when I heard his accent - he's an incredible actor
I absolutely love watching The Good Doctor. He is just incredible and I hope the show goes on forever. The interview with Jimmy Kimmel was so good. I couldn't stop laughing.
Freddy Highmore has a great sense of humor! I was laughing through much of the interview and enjoyed the way Freddie and Jimmy played off each other. ❤
Jimmy might be the best talk show host of all time. You start watching what u think is going to be a regular interview. Then by the end of the video, u feel like uve just watched 2 people having a really good conversation before an interview 👌🏽
He always look like he’s enjoying himself on Kimmel’s show. Jimmy always manage to get good stories and he always seem to share too much in the end. 😄😄😄
2:08 He almost said "Where's Ellen".... Yup, it was definitely her. How disappointing, but not surprising after all the allegations that came out against her.
As someone who watches the good doctor!! I had no idea he was British AT ALL!! His American accent is very good and I can’t tell he is British ( as a British person) but if you are American please give me your opinion
Cheers to Jimmy Kimmel, he improved a lot lately as a host. A couple years ago, he would keep interrupting his guests before they finish talking making him quite inconsiderate as a host. But things are different now. The interviews are more enjoyable and he seem to be one of the most respectful host among his peers now. Good Job ! And of coure, it's always delightful to see Freddie! He is the very proof that child actors can grow into a highly eloquent, troubleless and respectable adult. He is aging gracefully.
It's crazy to see that this guy has been busy, even back in his childhood years with Charlie in the Chocolate Factory, the Arthur Trilogy, Spiderwick Chronicles ETC
I believe I grew up with Freddie, watch his movies. Spiderwick , ect. I remember watching Artur 1, 2 and 3 on DVD, everytime I got the chance. He is such a nice human being in real life. God bless Freddie Highmore.
He is a really good actor. I thank him for bringing the Autistic community to the attention of many people. I'm literally hooked on the Good Doctor losing sleep because I'm very intrigued with how he plays out different type of situations. People should appreciate their good health and be kind to those who are mentally or physically challenged.
Graham Norton has a strict rule about not meeting guests beforehand, but Freddie Highmore hasn't been on that show. It's not a bad rule - it's so viewers get to see the moment they meet, rather than wasting that energy off-screen.
That sounds fair but hastily chucking somebody into a broom closet is a bit extreme. This sounds like the host wants to not see the guest backstage, even from a distance. Much harder to implement than just not chatting beforehand.
This story made it to Variety. Seriously, it's sad that there's such a fear of being blacklisted that he won't even mention her name (though he comes close 2:08). At least he told the story. Still, if it was Ellen, she needs to be called out.
Nah, definitely Ellen! She notoriously got enraged by people talking to or even looking at her (except during filming), and her staff were all terrified of upsetting her. The woman sounds like an absolute nightmare to work for or with.
had just recently seen an interview of his from when he was young with ellen and just by going through it you could realize that he's talking about the ellen show
@@mikec-hamilton Some people use a sarcasm indicator when they use sarcasm in an ambiguous way. The sarcasm indicator is an exclamation mark between two parens. Like so (!)
It’s kinda obvious that he pretended to not know the scissors! Goodness he graduated from Cambridge (one of the prestigious university in the world) yet he’s so humble!! I love him!!
I am currently watching the good doctor on Netflix , had to pause, google him to see if he is Autistic coz he’s so good in portraying that role, one might take him to be Autistic. Kudos 🎉💯🎈
