I think we miss him!

I love this song. And it's one of the last ones he wrote before his death...and he knew he was dying to.

This song comes at a perfect time. I'm having this same conversation with my daughter about something that happened in 6th grade. Shes 19 now and shes stuck. I told her that 6th grade doesnt exist for her any more. The people that caused her problem have gone on and screwed up there own lives( that's a fact she knows for certain). I told her to stop being a mushroom and get out and go on with life. She's been nominated for the National Honor Society. I told her that's something that doesnt happen to everyone. Capitalize on that and move on.

I've heard this song a lot but those words ring so clear especially now. I wish Freddie had lived on but he was called home. I know he did this whole album, if I'm not mistaken, before he passed knowing he may not live to see it released. I hope God is loving all the beautiful music.🙏💜🙏

perfect song right now... thanks Ty as always your ability with words, well just thank you. on another note.. it is my understanding that this particular video was hidden away in the guys closet or attic. this was just Freddie and piano, he was on stage practicing and this masterpiece is what happened! just recently released to the public... man I miss REAL artists like this man, no bells n whistles, just the real deal. not many left. it's a shame that back then we took them for granted... time waits for nobody eh...

Lyn A is correct. Dave Clark was the drummer, writer, producer and singer for the ‘60s band “The Dave Clark Five”. The original song “Time” is also on RU-vid, but it has a chorus in it, extra instrumentals and the piano sounds tinny. Dave looked for this demo in his vault for 10 years. He had the original pianist, Mike Moran, replay the music on a modern day piano. They were all great friends until Freddie passed away.

The Time album is actually very good i prefer in my defence song wise. Also they both work outside of story context which is cool.

Just Freddie and Mike Moran on this fabulous record, there is another song in the vaults that went missing, I believe its "Born to rock n roll" which Cliff Richard in the end sang.

There is a lot of talk today about lives mattering. Without a basic understanding that every person should be equally valuable and every person should have the same rights and protections under the law, regardless of skin color, its a waste of valuable time discussing lives mattering if you exclude one person, then no lives matter! The truth is beyond our personal relationships with friends, family and work, we don't really matter to anyone and there is nothing wrong with that! Why should we be forced to matter to a bunch of strangers we will probably never meet or interact with? Its an idiotic notion to me. Only celebrities musicians artists writers and other such people in the media and politics need to matter to the whole country or world! Real people tend to make their own little worlds and they matter to the people in those worlds! THE REST IS PURE POLITICS and no politician actually represents our interests, They represent their own!
