Also I WANT IT ALL, if you haven't already reviewed it. One of Freddy Mercury's last videos made shortly before he died and a very strong rock song it is! Thanks.
@@dlsfield9770 Sure it was not a "Queen" project. So wehre is the Problem? Btw. Queen was/is Freddie Marcury, Brian May Roger Madows Taylor are nothing without him, and im ashamed that they hire this Monkey Idiot to sing his songs, but looks like, it`s all about Money. Who win the Oskar? Not one of of them, only Freddie
Freddie was singing the truth from the grave: Time waits for nobody! No, it doesn't. WOW! What a legend - what a voice - what a stage present - forever loved - forever missed.
He always amazes me how when you think he’s hit his range in a particular phrase of a song he takes it up another notch or two again effortlessly. Even though I’ve watched so much video on him I still can’t get over that.
Thank you for this video dear man ! I was in high school when Freddie first appeared on the American scene. I was lucky enough to see them on their first American tour. This man was like a breath of fresh air ! There will never be another Freddie for sure !! Love your reaction! It's honest, pure and true !!!
You're so lucky ,I wish I could see Queen with Freddie live once, even if I would be older !!!!!No one will ever be like him!!!!! Freddie is at least God!!!!!! I miss you Freddie so much!!!!!💓
Another song Freddie did for this musical was 'In My Defence'. Always touches me, especially the ending. If you listen to it, you'll see what I mean, I won't spoil it for you.
The track is an early version of Mercury’s “Time,” which appeared on the 1986 concept album for Dave Clark’s stage musical of the same name, albeit in a more fully produced form. Clark, best known as the former leader and drummer of the Dave Clark Five, said he’d kept the footage buried deep in his archives ― until now. “Freddie asked me, ‘How do you want me to perform this?’” Clark recalled in an interview with Rolling Stone published Thursday. “I said, ‘As a cross between Edith Piaf, Jennifer Holliday and Shirley Bassey.’ He said, ‘Well, dear. I have all the dresses. I can do it perfectly.’” Thank you Deon for your smile, your enthusiastic energy and overall authentically 'YOU' reaction.
And here's that exact conversation in their own words. I always loved their friendship and their deep respect of each other. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ok9Mh4s8APw.html
@@kennasmith1293 Absolutely--they were true friends until the end! As a kid, I liked the Dave Clark Five, but now I LOVE Dave Clark for the support he gave Freddie Mercury!
@@decodolly1535Thanks; I have also read that. But there is also some confusion or dispute of who was with Freddie when he actually passed. -In at least one other source (page 244 of Freddie Mercury by Peter Freestone and David Evans) it says that Dave had been with Freddie upstairs, but had come down and was replaced by Peter and Jim (Hutton). The account went on to state that in that brief time when Peter and Jim were attending to Freddie, they noticed he had stopped breathing. According to that account, when they saw that that occurred they quickly called the doctor back as he was just pulling out of the drive. SO who knows what the particulars really were. Thankfully what we know for sure, is that Freddie who so many of us love to this day, was well attended and loved in the weeks, days, and moments surrounding his death and for that we're grateful. Thanks for chatting with me! Long live this treasured, amazing man!
I have been mesmerized by Freddie since I was 5yrs old in the 1980's. Fred's the greatest there ever was and the greatest there'll ever be IMO. The day he left this life a light went out in the world, a light that can never be replaced. My little heart was broken and remains so to this day. His loss still makes me very emotional. I've never felt that for anyone else. I am so glad that there is so much love for him and Queen right now ....and I hope wherever you are Freddie that you can somehow see how much the world loves and misses you...now more than ever. ❤👑❤
Not only does this video give me chills every time I see it, I get chills simply watching people's reactions. I'm not the only one moved by the beauty, talent, and emotion behind this song. This MIGHT be my favorite vocal performance Freddie ever recorded.
Deon thank you from the bottom of my heart for reacting to this video.❤. I had goose bumps through out the song. I was also very emotional. Freddie was a musical genius. His voice, range, ability and ease to flip from chest to head and back also to belt then just go so ever so soft. True legend and he will always live on my heart. Love you Freddie ❤. 👌🎶🎵💎⭐💖😘XXX
Dion--Always enjoy your take on things--but at a deeper level your engaging smile and upbeat way give me a happy feeling. As regards the new Freddie Mercury Performance video compliments of Dave Clark, like you--I was smiling through the tears--miss him so very much whether I focus upon talent, sweetness/kindness or sexiness. Such a loss to us all. Keep doing what you doi; you are a light yourself!
yes - hard not to cry.. how can you view/listen to this passionate song and NOT think about how time did not wait for Freddie... different timing by a few years, and likely he would still be alive... but "time is running out.... for us all"
I'm 14 years old and I have never grown up with music like this.. or know such beautiful things I never met Freddie or grew up with queen but I miss him so so much 😩❤️❤️❤️
God I love this man, if he hadn’t died think of the songs we missed but if a great talent didn’t die young, they don’t become worshiped for ever , that’s a sad part of life. But I’d still love him even as a man in his early seventies? Not that old
"I don't even know what to say. That kinda gave me chills, kinda made me emotional, kinda made me want to cry..." No doubt in my mind, you get Freddie Mercury & you really are a fan. Every fan of Freddie's & Queen experience the same emotions. The same song performed by Queen can be found on "Greatest Hits III" which I like better with the backup vocals. Great reaction, I felt it right along with you.
This is so beautiful and I am beyond speechless and happy that it was found. He probably did this song around 1986 after the band’s tour & prior to his diagnosis. Amazing Freddie!! I certainly hope to hear it on the radio
Only Freddie could come out with a new release after being gone for over 28 years. It has made 32 on the UK chart and expected to hit the top 10 and the man isn't even alive. It's as if he is singing to us from Heaven (with the ambiance especially) warning us as to what is going on in the world right now, but when he did it, there is no way he could have known what would be going on in 2019, but odd how this was lost until just recently and released to the public. I know it was released for a musical called "time" but the stripped down version of all other instruments and background singers that drowned him out, being this version was lost, and David Clark who stripped it down, just recently found it, which is why it's considered a "new" release, in a sense it is. Absolutely beautiful. I love the end how he gets surrounded by smoke looking like clouds and then drifts into the star background. (Ambiance of Heaven)
Hard to believe that amazing performance ended up on the cutting room floor. I wonder if there are any other hidden and forgotten gems like this one from the late, great Freddie Mercury?
Oh my goodness... 😭My heart is melting... 😢🙏💔❤️❤️This song is so touching... So awesome... So awesome... Freddie I miss you so-so so so so much if you knew.... You're my whole life... Thanks to you I re-discover this world ... This magical world filled with music ... And these musics are the best ... I would have loved to be born at that time ... Everything was magic 😢😍and nobody can be better than you, freddie! You are the only one in my heart ! Queen is a legend! This song too! Thank you very much for this video it's really very touching🙏🙏😔💓
There are singers and theirs freddie, some singers can hit high notes but then they lose the meaning of the song, and it doesn't sound like its coming from the heart or most of the its not natural but with freddie he doesn't even try and he gets all the high notes all most, all the time and on point, pitch perfect.I was a fan of dimash but not anymore sorry, but you don't have the depth, soul and execution that freddie has when he belts out a song. Funny I was a fan of dimash but when I have heard freddie sing he just has the wow factor that no artist I've listened to has, he can sing rock, pop, funk, anything basically you name it.
@@rell.bombtv Thanks I appreciate it, lets keep the legacy of queen going, best band in the world, with the greatest singer of any genre, everyone needs to hear this mans voice its out of this world.
Have you heard No one but you (Only the good die young)? It's a beautiful tribute Brian wrote, he, Roger and John did a tribute video for Freddie. It was the last time John ever performed as a member of Queen.
You should do the song that Freddie and Michael did together: "There Must Be More To Life Than This." I was something they never finished, but it was released a few years back and is pretty interesting. They actually did three songs, but surviving members of Queen were only able to get the rights to that one (from the Jackson estate). It really makes you wonder what they could have done going forward.
