Before the comedy era freddy was right in the middle of the merseybeat boom. I would love to travel back and see Freddy Starr and the midnighters playing in a packed out Liverpool ballroom

Before the comedy Freddie was in Liverpool bands during the early Beatles era. I would give anything to have saw him in the early to mid 1960s with the seniors or the midniters. These issued singles in that era alongside a Howie Casey LP

Brilliant performance, but that band is something else. Does anyone know if they're still working. Bit of a long shot, but would be nice to know who they actually were and if they supported other singers. Reason being, is they deserve recognition as well.
