A fascinating and frequently harrowing insight into the mindset of a violent sociopath.

Fred had a horrific upbringing and had a serious mental health issues. I prefared him as a singer

She left her kids to be with him, " If I ever get homesick I just phone them and find out it's raining where they are in England while I'm living in the sunshine and I'm happy again " . Them children must have been scared for life, BITC#

Fred had serious mental health issues from childhood. His parents robbed him of £2000 and he got thumped by his dad a bare knuckle fighter I prefared him as singer he was very good.and very underestimated in that field. His best wife Betty was his best

All these people slagging him off now were only too happy to take his money when he was on top . He gave everything he had and this is the thanks he got. We still love you Freddie. RIP

Spot on re- Max Clifford how could he be so mean. We public can’t all be wrong. We liked Freddie and enjoyed his humour. What a breath of fresh air looking back at our lifetime. Also his voice was lovely and we could tell he loved singing. What a talent. I’m glad I’m 73 now. We were lucky to enjoy our music and humour etc, Cliff, Elvis, the early 1960’s Freddie Mercury, too many to mention, Morecambe & Wise, Ken Dodd and so many more funny and happy memories. We loved you all and thank you for the entertainment and the memories. All the best to all of the like minded fans out there who enjoyed life as much as my wonderful late husband Rod (2022) and I did. How lucky we were. ❤️ Special memories xxx

“I hope he found the peace in the next world that he failed to find in this one” - Freddie in his autobiography “Unwrapped” about Joe Meek. Oddly enough I now feel the same about Freddie.

A sad story in Many ways, I believe often a 'misunderstood guy' - in many ways I think over the years he had some Wrong people around him, I'm sure a few Good ones too, he Needed more of them ..... My family & I always liked him & he's given Many great hours of laughter to millions over the years !!! To me I feel Freddie Starr was, is, the Best UK Variety performer we've had ....... He deserved a Better ending. R.I.P Freddie Starr

I'll never forgive the nasty pieces of work that bought him down and took his money and accused him of things he didn't do and hounded him to his death.

I think Freddie Starr was a brilliant brilliant man regardless of what people sat, I also think that apart from his manages and producers have said that people just made money out of him then said Freddie, on your bike, he was a very tallented man and regardless of what his offspring have said, I think there mother had a lot to do with the way they think of him. He was a great comeadien and a great musician, a very multie tallented man.

This is such a sad documentary. Freddie was a billiant bloke. It seems that the people only supported him if he did exactly what he was told to do. But he wanted to do things his way. He was the star. I think that most people are fickle and in showbusiness they are very fake. His three kids were also turned against him because his 2nd wife had complete control of them after the divorce. She sold their life to the papers and it seemed all very acrimonious. The media love to tear Famous successful people to pieces. Don't believe everything you read about people. There are always two sides to the story. It is absolutely true that real talent hardly exists anymore. Stupid television reality shows with talentless people in. The great comedians are gone and there is no such thing as variety shows anymore. Because there is no variety! Every show is a singing show X Factor,. American Idol and Britain's got talent all about revolve around people who think they can sing but the truth is very few have talent. I love Freddie's humour.rs He was a nuturally funny man. He was unique. The television producers gave him a raw deal and he wasn't allowed to be himself anymore. Shame.

I know someone who works in a very posh hotel in Lytham St. Annes. Freddie Starr stayed there when he was doing a summer show in Blackpool. The manager had to kick him out after he insisted on rehearsing his backing group in his suite at two o'clock in the morning. Starr said 'I will see to it that no comedian ever stays here again.' Yeah, good luck with that, Fred. The following year, The Grumbleweeds stayed there and they were absolute gentlemen.

I guess this is the real freddie starr. Talented, yes, but also a real nasty piece of work if he didn't get his way. The press got back at him in the end with the peado sting. No one in the true entertainment industry forgets who you really are.

This documentary is full of jealous hypocrites. He is mad and funny and is what he is. He is right about today's comedy being shit. Guys called Russell whatever relying on social media for a laugh. Programme list. Towie Big brother Housewives of Wishaw Date this date that Dogs on benefits ... Yes I am trying to be funny. Why not. Every other arse is.
