Enjoyed that playing Joe. Really showed that pedals capabilities, almost like a Swiss army knife at one point. Unusual, but nice to hear a flash of Quo in a demo there too!
What i have found out about this pedal is. ......... put with other smooth fuzzes it can turn them into nasty spitty (expensive and rare) fuzzes like vox tonebender.
Thanks for your video, it showed that extreme fuzz tones can be very musical. The input level sensitivity is amazing. I'll bet that the 18 volt preamp in my bass would take that germanium transistor into a whole new level of saturation! Perhaps too far into fat farty fuzz. That begs the question: Could you please consider making a video about pedals (especially chorus, compression, distortion) that handle bass guitars well? p.s. Folks, watch Joe's video covering the Mentour Pilot theme to hear that he's a fine bassist, too!
Aha thanks Bill...though I'm a piss-poor bassist when it comes down to it! :P I'll probably leave bass FX to somebody with much more 4-string talent than I...they'll be able to do a way better job!
You just need something that splits the signal - but having the second output isolated is important. I use Lehle P-Splits but plenty of things will do a similar job :-)
