Hagerman Fuzz: Buffer-Friendly Silicon Fuzz Face w/ Tone Shaping 

Aha I know...I'm not usually a fan of flamed tops (mainly because they're usually bookmatched on Les Pauls etc, which I'm rarely fond of) but being a 1-piece, this one is insane!!

Cheers mate - glad to have you here :-) Yeah, this is a pretty friendly fuzz to start with as it doesn't need to be first in line - it's quite forgiving in being put in places where fuzzes wouldn't usually be happy!

I think most gear has had a bit of a Covid rest lately...!! :P

I've never used any of the low cost mini-head things. I guess the big difference is the pedal is designed to hit the front end of an amp; the head is designed to be used standalone into a speaker cab. So multiple pedals can be used with one amp; the heads would need to be switched in & out whenever you want a different sound and there wouldn't necessarily be much consistency in volume, EQ, etc. I'm sure some of them sound great, but they're fundamentally a different design for a different purpose. Fun to experiment though :-)

It's tricky, as both ideally want to be first! Depends if you're using the Vari-Z switch on the FB; if not, it can go anywhere. But assuming the TC tuner is true bypass, you could have the FB & Fuzz in either order assuming you never have both turned on at once and they'd both behave themselves. But I'd personally put the fuzz first....fuzz in to FB would sound great; a low-impedance signal from the FB into the fuzz would likely sound a bit grim!
