This download is an After Effects project file, and can be imported into your existing project. The shapes are built from 3D Shape layers in After Effects. You can manipulate each shape in 3D space using the 3D Transform Gizmo, and you can customize each shape using easy controls. Included are 11 basic geometric shapes: a Cylinder, Sphere, Dodecahedron, Polygonal Prism, Cuboid, Parallelepiped, Cube, a stretchable Pyramid, a 4-Sided Pyramid, Tetrahedron, and Cone. The Cylinder and Sphere shapes are made with the CC Cylinder and CC Sphere effects that are built into After Effects. These are 2D effects, but they have been modified to work like true 3D objects. You can use the 3D Gizmo to move them around, their rotation is compatible with the camera layer, their lighting is linked to your 3D light layer, and they can cast a 3D shadow.
