I wish I could fully move to linux, but there are some software that I use that is for windows. Some of the software that I use is Pinnacle studio, which I think needs to install Microsoft framework, a few others are videopad video editor, which (I think) kinda speaks for itself. Windows Media player, it's for ripping music, another one is ultra ISO. That's just 4 of the pieces of software that I use. Other than those pieces of software, I could be over on Linux in minutes, I also use chrome, Apache open office.

@@morganrussman Well, you have Linux and Windows both installed on the same PC. And, whenever you switch on the pc it will ask which one to boot and start "Windows" or "Linux". You can do all whatever you wished to know and experience on linux and you will also be able to use your favourite software on Windows.

hitfilm has quite a few problems atleast in my experience opentoonz (i think i recently started using it) blender and atom (vs sublime text) 7zip also probably

@Technical Jayendra No brother I strongly disagree, when it comes to the next best alternative to IDM it definitely is Xtreme download manager, probably not look as good as Montrix. It is better than Montrix in most of the cases most people need IDM for except a torrent client. 1. Extention is much easier to install 2. Floating video download button, or I would say the downloading video works great, Probably better than IDM 3. Downloads are automatically categorized into folders like Videos, Documents, Programmes exactly like IDM, keeps download folder uncluttered. 4. Is very small and has almost no bugs. 5. You need to check it out for more. Just try it once you won't regret. I've been using it for a year now works like charm,

@@pratikrai6407 ya, I can playback 1080 videos with effects without a problem in resolve, but cant playback smoothly in 1/4 res on premiere

KM player is also free and works great for me. I tried potplayer but it couldn't play the first video I tried, asked to download tons of codecs and stuffs

I have been using Da Vinci Resolve since months and even watched hours of tutorials. It really is complicated and way too much for basic movie making, which won't be ever entered into Oscar Lol. I switched to Openshot and there's literally no learning curve for me. The initial tutorial given during installation is enough to get anyone started. Basic clipping, stitching, transitioning, captions, playback speed, frame size crop are all the features I ever need. Resolve was way too much hassle to perform even the simplest of tasks.

Yeah i just switched to it again. I used to have it on Linux pc. MS office fails to open documents downloaded from the internet. It gives some error while Libre works with the same thing no issues.
