I have one of those. A 99. I use it to haul my kayak to and from the lake and goof around the neighborhood. It always needs choke even if it has just ran if you want it to start in one bump. Enjoy!
It's due to then burnt motor oil. And the lifters and push rods weren't primed up yet. From setting for so Long. They have front differential kits for those Kawasaki mules out. If you're planning on using it for hunting and playing in the woods to. It could be A could investment to add it on to your Kawasaki mule ATV vehicle. Cause you'll end up wishing that it had 4x4 on it when you least expect to need it.,or half to have to. Even dual wenches front and back.
I have been in some very muddy and not ideal situations in mine. Only got it stuck one time. The mud was so thick on the wheels it made the drive belt whine. But I'm interested in the 4x4 option
That’s a tough one. Personally, I’d put the tools down and wait for the replacement ignition. Or, I’ve had good luck with having a locksmith make a replacement key. You can also take your VIN to a Kawasaki dealer and they should be able to cut a new key. They may require proof of ownership. Thanks for watching!
