@@carynchristianson7106 Thank you so much! Could you tell me why you wouldn't call it beginner? This kind of feedback is actually super helpful for me in developing the course
Great lesson - thanks for this! Agree that it is more at the early intermediate level as it does require some prior knowledge of major scales, major/minor/dominate 7th chords, chord extensions, etc. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
Dear Alejandro, for me this was definitely not easy (beginner!), but very nice to start from. Took me three weeks to handle it somehow. Lots of good info in this tutorial. Looking forward to more lessons from you.
Hi Michael - Thanks so much for letting me know how you felt about this lesson series. I actually just received an email this week from another viewer who told me they thought this was more of an intermediate level, and not beginner. I appreciate you sticking it out, I'm taking notes, and when I start producing content again (hopefully soon!) I'm looking forward to making some adjustments. All my best to you!
Yes, that's correct. I think you're referring to measure 2 of the warmup? There is an A on the bottom of the chord because I am playing an inversion of F#dim7. Also D# is enharmonic to Eb, and I've opted to use this note to demonstrate the upward movement of the inner voices.
Of course! I use OBS studio, which allows me to organize my video inputs so I don't have to do a ton of editing after I shoot video. The program MIDICULOUS is what I use to light up the virtual keyboard.
