If you rub that sill plate much more it will be like you have sanded it with 1000 grit! Roflmao! Regards launch date upon sons graduation! Thanks for the boat Dad.
@@Micington Good on you Mate! Been looking at my Bert for over 20 years now! Once I start though, It's very very solid, mostly cosmetic pretty much no structural, I do want to modify some things but not much. The Old Girl wants to be stock and original,if someone gets it they can do all the creature comfort and ergonomic interior etc. Bout my only add on will be a small stainless swim platform. If I decide to keep it will turn it into a fishing boat! Lol it wasn't built for that but surely could make a good one! Hope all is well with you n yours.regards
@@Micington Thank you Sir! It does run and ride nicely at 50 in 5ft seas. Don't think it will receive a kewl custom Electric hardtop though. Smiles if it gets a Bimini it will be Lucky. Regards ps waiting for building to out Bert in for resto along with my 69 ford f250 short box crew cab truck! After all need something to tow the boat
It’s expensive! I looked at getting carbon Fibre to do my roof and it was very expensive (to me) I found basalt cloth is poor man’s carbon Fibre and basalt cloth lasts longer then Carbon Fibre. But it’s still a a bit more expensive then Fibreglass. Weighs slightly more then Fibreglass too. Basalt cloth also doesn’t make you itchy apparently. I ended up buying a bunch to play with. In a couple videos away still . Trying to catch up on the footage!
