Hi Mate, how did you get it to run off the Milwaukee batteries? I am looking at doing that for now without the speed control mod. Do you just hook up the one lead from the neg and positive? I see there are 4 pins do they need to be connected as well? Thank you for your help
You need to open the unit up. Follow where the power pins wires go. Solder your own wires to these wires and get them out of the unit and seal the hole. 12v was easy to find. Milwaukee m12 batteries have 2 large places for pins to go and these are negative and positive (use multi meter to find). I think in one of my earlier blobs i got a funny intro and you can see me connecting it up but it depends on how you pull the wires out of the unit. I used multi meter a lot to probe where wires went but I can’t remember now. One thing I do know is the speed controller from eBay is much much better and I’ve never had any problems since. Other than wires breaking on rare occasions but very simple fix. Sorry I probably didn’t giv much help there 😂
Hey man! Yes I used 316 stainless staples or at the minimum 304stainless. I’m trying hard to work on it. I been working away from home this entire year so far.
That would’ve been nice. Haha I looked around for second hand seats but no luck. Bit of work putting it on. I would’ve glued less places if I did it again.
I am amazed! Whenever I have worked with Contac Cement you get one chance and one only. If it even gets near the other piece it grabs and sticks with no 'pulling into place allowed'. Given twenty minutes it is a total bitch to get off foam without destroying it. You impress me again! Back to my Guinness (E.S. of course)!!
Do you know how to do it with the old papr system with the round filter gvp 100 their is no bolts for disassembly would I just use the old battery plug in. I don't want to ruin it trying to get the phase wires since it's a sealed unit
I’m sorry I haven’t seen one I don’t think. How many prongs does the battery have? How many volts is the battery? Can u tap straight into the terminals where the battery clips in? Hope that makes sense??
@Micington got it working its also 4.8v just used the old plug that goes to the battery it had red black green and white just used the power and ground and works. Thanks
Unless I missed it nobody complained that you could see the rotor blades a bit at the end. I'm so disappointed. I expect some knob to say something. I like the boat and the music choice is fitted. Happy for you and your parents enjoying something real.
Je cherche des videos sur ce type de grements qui montrent l'exécution des manoeuvres, en particulier lors de fort vent, pour la réduction de la voile. Je ne trouve pas. En auriez vous ? s il vous plait !
I'm looking for videos on this type of grements that show the execution of maneuvers, especially in strong winds, for sail reduction. I can't find any. Do you have any? Please!
Love the intro, the narration was hilarious! Glad to see you back at it. Love watching you work with all your fancy tools, excellent work as usual. Make it happen mate!
Naa Mate, I don't think your an idiot, quite the opposite actually I think you are a genius. You have a beautiful wife, a handsome young son and building a boat that you want while having some fun doing it. You are pretty much killing it. Though I do i have to say I have been enjoying this series up till now but with that intro I am feeling a bit guilty for watching it lol. I thought this was about building the boat but apparently it is about getting laid, I somehow feel guilty about it, like we should also be paying ohmage to your Mrs or watching it on the hub. Boat coming along and one day we might see it in a liquid habitat, but for now enjoying the ride.
Thanks for thinking I’m not an idiot haha , and another thanks! I’m very proud of my Mrs and son. The intro was just a bit of fun, I just wanted to make people laugh. No ohmage or offense intended. The videos are all about building the best 25ft Bertram on the planet! I’ll tell everyone the real reasons why I begun the build, one day in a future video. I definitely didn’t expect it to take this long though! There’s so many other things I’d like to do. I appreciate your consistent support hommie! 🍻 🍻
Well hello my best friend, I was starting to get worried that you may have left us, 😢 What a great love story that episode was, the build is coming along amazingly, love you attention to detail, she is going to look awesome. Cheers
Sorry about that best friend, I would never leave you haha I can’t wait to get the work done for the next episode but time is not on my side at the moment. Working away from home much more than I expected. I gotta take it while it’s there! Thanks for always supporting me! 🍻 🍻
Ha Ha. didn't realise you were a local. Thought you might have been a cockroach. Is the plasma high frequency start (and using usb or parallel cable)? If so, is likely emf noise interfering with the comms. I think some people are getting the HF starting plasmas to work wirelessly (bluetooth module maybe)? If it was working before and it is not now, then might not be noise but lots of people have this issue with HF start.
Thanks Dennis! It’s actually got a super long usb cable coiled up… I will change it out for an expensive shorter cable and let you (and everyone else) know if it works! Awesome thanks!!! 🍻 Where abouts are you? I’m in Scarborough
@@Micington Just the other side of the creek at Capalaba. Did it lose comms or lose it's arc? (I'm def not an authority on this but know some people have the loss of comms issue from noise).
Just remember when things are all f____d up-- not to worry that's the way Boeing sells mega million airplanes. Don't need no bolts!!! All else fails tell 'em your mind was on making female molds like the lion was doing!! Have another Guiness (but don't tell everyone there might not be enough!) and don't sweat the quality inspection.
Hope you imbided the St. Pat's day rations of Guiness Extra Stout and followed it in the evening with Jameson's honey. Some of man's best ideas come after so doing!
