My language learning community: app.vibely.io/woutersmultilingualfam/challenges Here you can find the tier prices and more info. Within this community you can join challenges, you can find a language buddy and there are different chat groups. Besides that I also organize 2 virtual meetings per month where you can talk to me directly. Last but not least: there is a special language nerd tier, which gives you access to my booklets for German, Spanish and French and access to 2 live lessons per week!
It's kind of funny, because I'm Hungarian, and those 2 people didn't actually speak Hungarian, just because they said hi and how are you, espesially the tall guy didn't even nailed that 1 phrase "Jó napot". when you said that "I'm learning Hungarian", that was more than what those people knew in Hungarian.
You should have them to say a few sentences before giving out free tea. I dont think the african guys could speak that language, they just knew a few words. The man with the hungarian lady can't speak hungarian I can tell that. I am glad that you study hungarian because it is a hard language and great for people who likes languages. I have seen a few polyglots speaking it and they said they wanted to learn something that is different and challenging.
@@szita2000 im glad someone noticed it. They actually did not speak Hungarian, just said some words. Also their first words were Romanian. You got fooled man...
7:03 *Akhirnya ada juga orang Malaysia dalam video ini* ,great content man!! By the way,I'm from Malaysia~ Indonesia and Malaysia accent are similar yet different languages..Amazing job on learning many languages!! I am so amazed!!!
The nigerian dudes cheated. lol They didn't even sound like they spoke those African languages, I don't think saying one or two words should count, for all we know their grandma taught them a few words or they picked up a few from her.
That’s what it looked like but at the same time if they are from Nigeria then it is very likely that they speak a Nigerian dialect as a native language.
Hi Wouter! I don't know who the guy with the "hungarian" woman at 8:40 was, but he certainly didn't speak Hungarian. He said 2-3 words, but I couldn't figure out what it was. If it had been Hungarian, I would have understood, it is my mother tongue. You were fooled
Yup, he needs to request at least 3 sentences so people will prove they indeed speak that language. You can't say you speak a language if you can't say at least a few sentences.
I was curious if he could speak hungarian, but the lady definietly couldn't.She and her husband only tell a few things, that I can hardly understand.(My mother language is hungarian.)
"Jó napod mit csinál?" Mintha a Google fordító olvasna fel valamilyen eldugott afrikai ősnyelvet. Jó, hogy mi sem értjük, csak az INGYEN tea kellett. Jó benyomást kelt a "magyar".....
You’re so inspirational! I’m so jealous, I would love to speak multiple languages but I always give up before getting anywhere. I grew up in Lebanon and honestly you speak better MSA than me but in terms of improving pronunciation, you could work on the harsh throaty sounds (idk if you know what I mean, but for example, the haa in hayawanat)
When you spoke in Russian, I did not immediately understand. You speak Russian very cute.☺️ Ukrainian turned out to be better than russian, although you use many Russian words in it, and it turned out surjik.🙃 But I say this with respect, as a native speaker of both languages. Your knowledge is amazing, you are well done😃
Great channel Wouter. The only thing that would make your videos even better is if you didn’t leave people mid conversation looking for new languages . I would feel temporarily offended if you left me standing there without saying bye looking for someone new😢. Hello from 🇨🇦
I'm really impressed right now by your effort and love for different languages and cultures. And more impressed that you know about Buryat language. In fact most people in Russia don't even know about our ethnicity, It's kinda sad. I really enjoyed watching your videos, thank you for sharing ❤
8:15 she actually spooke Romanian so you were right. "Ce faci?" Means how are you She switched to hungarian then at 8:22 Tipic românașului nostru sa faca faze dastea
Ai dreptate,a zis Ce faci in romana prima data si cand el a zis ca ii in limba romana ea a crezut ca el vorbeste si imediat a schimbat in ungureste chiar daca habar nu a avut sa lege cuvintele,de aceea ne facem de rusine peste tot, cand ii vorba de orice gratis suntem primii👍
I love these videos so much. Not only inspiring to learn more languages, but really cool to watch you meet so many different people and learn a little bit about them.
I'm USian and I love your language. 😍 I need to learn Spanish first for career reasons, but as soon as I'm good enough at it to start working on Brazilian Portuguese, I will be SO happy lol. It's just so beautiful! I've never wanted to study a language just for FUN as much as I do with Portuguese.
Sign is so underrated! I grew up using some Sign Exact English with my brother but I'm trying to get into properly learning ASL over the next few years. Any suggestions on habits for practice/integrating it into one's life? It's so fundamentally different from spoken languages that I feel like there's a real lack of ways to practice with other people online & lack of information about the learning process.
I only speak English and a tiny bit of Hindi and Punjabi (which I can also read). I have been learning Spanish for some years on Duolingo but your videos are inspiring me to step up my language learning. So thanks for that!
The irish one, pure just asked himself how he has and replied himself that he was good, pretty he sure he was about to ask him to have permission to go to the toilet
13:15 When you know you can't understand each other, you should put the politics aside, accept that Darija is a separate language, and give her a coupon. Because, isn't the ultimate point of speaking a same language to understand each other? You'd give two coupons for speaking Serbian and Croatian, Czech and Slovak, or Norwegian and Swedish, and those understand each other a lot better. What is a language is as much political as it is linguistic.
Akhirnya aku jumpa gak video dia ckp yg dia xpndai bahasa melayu..bagus mamat ni even sbnrnye bole paham je BM dgn bahasa Indonesia tu tp dia ckp 'i don't speak malay"...tp dia tau beza malay dgn Indonesian language.. 👍👍👍👍
The fact that he, even at a very basic level, can speak so many languages is very impressive in itself, but i can't help but feel so awkward when he's talking to people in a language i know and he's just repeating basic phrases with tons of mistakes
Those italians where quite pissed off and a bit rude... the guy in the middle was joking about you asking him to know his mother..."Conoscere" really means to "know" a person ( even in a biblical sense), it doesn't mean " to meet" wich translates with "incontrare". You know italians are quite jealous of their mothers :D
Setelah ditunggu-tunggu ternyata Bahasa Indonesia ada di episode 4. Wouter bisa Bahasa Sunda dan Bahasa Jawa enggak? Itu bahasa daerah di Indonesia. Saya orang Sunda tapi nggak lancar Bahasa Sunda karena biasa pakai Bahasa Indonesia. Di google translate Sundanese itu Bahasa Sunda dan Javanese itu bahasa Jawa.
I really admire you. from the bottom of my heart and all the respect for your hard work, i think u need to get some new ideas to your videos, idk, something different , something refresh, etc. For example in italian u always repeating the same : posso parle italiano, la pizza, mi piace, tua famiglia, voglio conoscere, that's something u repeat in all your videos, I wouldn't say u speak that language, and with this what i want to say is , maybe u could get more vocabulary and make it more interesting or funny, the same happen with french and portuguese. But i'm really surprised with your spanish, i would say is perfect enough. Again I appreciate your work Hope this advice would be taken , kindly.
You speak all the languages man but if u wanna speak them “all” you have to learn some balkan language man😂like serbian it has some similar words to russian so u would learn it quickly, then you will understand people from croatia montenegro bosnia macedonia because they all speak serbian with a dialect👍🏻
Just a remark, I ‘ m hungarian and the couple didn’t spoke very well. They accent was bearly recognizeable. Which is not a problem dont get me wrong I m just saying they are not native I think.😊
