A boar is just a male pig. Javalinas are mean as hell though, boars or sows! I would rather deal with a bear. (I know you're vegan, but they are also delicious.)
Great video! Have followed you I think since the beginning of your travels or at least I have seen all of them. Loved the shots of the clouds! Some of them looked like UFOs frozen in time. Could watch Sadie explore all day. She's such a free spirit. I just knew she was going to figure out how to climb that tree!! And her loping and bounding through the desert grasses, priceless! Everyone has to downsize etc. Now that I’m older and wiser I feel the big weddings are not as personal as the small ones. I have been married more than once and had both types. I went to Bisbee years ago and have a book signed by Walter from the one book bookstore. I always thought it might be a good place to "settle". Watching Sadie chasing the birds reminded me of my late dog, Jupiter. Whatever she chased she jumped or ran like them. Hopped like a bunny... Bounding lope like a deer... Galloped like a horse...even swam like a fish.😄😁😝 She passed in 2011 and I still miss her.
I’ve run across javelina while hiking in Sedona. I was by myself, wondering why a dog was laying in trail, got closer and it got up and ran away. They are shy but I do think you should be careful with them.

Judging by the weather, and the fact I believe I saw you and Sadie, I was in Tombstone and Bisbee about the same time you were. Ft Bowie was another really cool place. Bisbee was way cool but my husband had to explore the town’s side streets and yikes, they were narrow and steep. I was afraid we’d get wedged in between buildings . but we made it out without a scratch. Good thing he was driving.

We stopped in Tombstone last December because I had heard about my Paternal cousin Doc Holiday a lot and wanted to stand where he did. He was a bit of a scalawag but I love finding people like that. They are so much easier to find. I loved your visit there. We saw the Clayton Boys grave in Boot Hill Cemetery. . Thank you for taking us along..

Nice shots. I like that area and Bisbee is a super cute town. Tombstone has interesting museums, including stories about prostitutes lives and the anti-Asian laws in the town. Depended on their labor, but they weren’t allowed in town after sundown. I think the Chiricahua Mountains were in backdrop of your shots. Great hiking but you have to be mindful because there are smuggler trails there - the coyotes can be dangerous if you see something you shouldn’t and it’s a remote area...still...beautiful.

They are javelina and named that as their teeth are like javelins, be very careful they don't often initiate a fight but will kill a dog if threatened. I' live in AZ and I'd use a leash.

Awesome pink cloud sunset photos. And love that cactus with yellow fruit - I’ve seen it in Santa Fe also. Don’t miss the Chiricahua Mtns near Portal, AZ. They look like Apache hideouts....one of my all time favorite spots for birding in SE AZ with lots of Cool hummingbirds. But of course you are probably long gone since it is 97 degrees there now.....

I remember when Bisbee had that killer bee attack some years ago. If bothersome bees check you out and buzz you unprovoked, it's a bad sign you might be getting too close to a nest out there.
