This is part 3 of Julie's home. My mom and I and some other helpers have been working on this hoarder home for a few weeks now. In this video, we will be cleaning a bathroom and A PIANO ROOM! You will not believe the before and after of the piano room! It's probably one of my favorite after shots of any room I have cleaned. It is BEAUTIFUL!! Plus, there are a lot of good scrubbing sounds in this one for those who enjoy that kind of thing.

I love how this video turned out. It has been such a joy working with you the past several weeks. The estate sale yesterday turned out rather well. We had a lot of interested buyers come. Julie was also ready to donate what was left over even though there will be more sales. She only kept back a few of the high-end things that will be either sold online or put in the next sale. I am so proud of Bonnie and the wonderful work she is doing. Thank you, subscribers, for supporting her and for the supoort her husband and family are giving her. Thank you also for the uplifting comments about me. I am so grateful and blessed for the health I do have and I am able to serve others.

This is what I have been looking forward to all these weeks is seeing her shine with all of her talents. She has a great eye for decorating, and it made me so happy to see her be able to put those things in place that she has been imagining for years. And then the piano playing and singing was the icing on the cake! She still has a long way to go, but this was a good moment along the way.🤗❤️❤️

We were taking it out to her in the dining room to sort through and figure out what she was going to sell and what she was going to keep. The stuff that she has decided to keep is still a lot bigger than I would like to see, but at least it's getting organized into categories so that, once we get it all together, she can see that she doesn't need 20,000 signs or 40,000 pillows. 🤔😁Baby steps. A lot of the stuff from that room did go out to the "pod" I rented and was put into a yard sale this last weekend where she got rid of a whole bunch of stuff.

It does take awhile for your permanent teeth, but it shouldn’t take that long. I’ve watched an influencer who took over a year for her dentures. She went somewhere else after hearing from her supporters to go somewhere else, the dentist was giving her the runaround. Prayers all goes well for you. 🙏

First, your fake tooth does not look that bad! Second, I am going to guess that you had to have a bone graft where they pulled the tooth for the implant. They have to make sure the graft takes and holds for the implant. Third, I have had three implants and they each took 9 months from start to finish. Just like having a baby. But you will be so glad you were able to get the implant. My implants have made my other teeth tighten up. Also, if you had just gotten a bridge, it uses other teeth to stay in place and it is hard on those teeth. You will make it 5 more months and you will be so glad you did the implant. As for your video, I really enjoyed it and I, too, like doing laundry. Heck, I love to iron! Keep up the great work!

I actually didn't have to have a bone graft because they didn't pull any teeth. I have had two bridges in the front for about 12 years and, before that, I had a variety of issues with my front teeth because I am missing a couple of my adult teeth. I have had several crowns over the years and then braces as an adult to open up the spaces where I'm missing teeth so that they could do the bridges and make things look a little nicer. They have held up pretty well, but, as you said they do take a lot more pressure and so I would be doing that every 10 to 15 years. That's why I decided to have the middle tooth cut out of each of those bridges and put the implants in to make it a little more permanent. The implants were actually ready about 4 weeks ago, but the periodontists office didn't schedule enough time when they made the appointment with my dentist and, by the time they figured that out, the dentist's schedule was full for several weeks, so I'm just on a cancellation list and waiting to get in whenever I can. I will just be thankful it's only a few more weeks and not a few more months. Thanks for sharing! I'm so glad they have worked out well for you!

Well that explains a lot. You are having something way different done than I did. I was wondering why no one told you it would take 9 months! You have one busy dentist! Hang in there and just think about the end result. By the way, I love that you are having your mother help you. She is a pistol! I don't know the answer to your question about your crown.. but I wanted to tell you, when i was 2, i had pneumonia, and the antibiotics caused my teeth to come in yellow. It used to really bother me. I was bullied all through school. At some point I came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. All I can do is the best I can do. The rest doesn't matter. Whatever will be, will be, and there's no point getting upset about things out of my control. I know there are people who will pick apart every aspect of an image, but that's their problem. The rest of us are just plugging along, doing what we can, we look at the person you are, not the person we see. Either way, you're beautiful!!

You just described almost exactly what my mom went through and why she has had such horrible teeth her whole life. She also had, I believe, pneumonia at around that same age and the antibiotics made her teeth come in like little brown kernels. It has been about 6 years since she was finally able to get them all pulled and have full dentures put in, the kind that are fastened to implants so that they can act more like real teeth. But for 66 years of her life, she lived with horrible teeth and I always wanted to help her get new teeth. I was so happy when she was able to finally do that. I'm so sorry you have had to deal with teeth problems your whole life. 😕 It definitely puts my tooth problems to shame. I will be grateful for the teeth I have and stop complaining. And, you're right, it doesn't matter what others think. My favorite people are those who are kind and just their real selves. I'm sure that's the kind of people you attract. 🥰

@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp I actually have pretty good teeth. I've had one cavity ever. They're just yellow. Now that I'm older, it's pretty normal with age, but as a young lady, with thick coke bottle glasses, not so much! Lol I'm sorry to hear about your mom's struggles with her teeth, but glad she's got implants! Praying for yours to come soon! God bless!! ❤️

My 11yo daughter wants me to ask if you're OK. She heard the suggestion to go hug our toilets and immediately became concerned that you might have inhaled some toxic chemicals. I assured her that it's just a Bonnie thing, and she couldn't possibly understand.

I really appreciate how sweet and sensitive you are with your clients. I used to clean for a living before my disability took away my physical strength and stamina and I was so proud of the change that happened whenever I cleaned, and the appreciation my clients gave me for what was such a simple task. I'm sure I will get there someday and feel a little sad that I can't do what I used to be able to. This homeowner I'm helping is actually in the same boat as you. She used to help other people clean their houses until all of the trauma and health issues made that pretty much impossible and turned her life upside down. It makes me sad to see people lose those abilities, but there are also other very worthwhile things to do for other people such as just listening. People just want to be heard and appreciated. I am soo Sorry I missed this day! I bet she was so delighted to play the piano again. I am Glad she was able to start her sells. Remember, Keep your chin up and keep on peeling away. Those who don't know me, I am the Lisa from the kitchen episode and I too had issues with clutter. I Have been working my house for over 6 moths and I am Proud to say My Office is beautiful! Everything is a work in progress. I am still decluttering after the first pass and now really working my 3rd right now. Bonnie was so kind and wonderful to work with and seeing what I can do again as a collaboration again soon. Bonnie and her mom are a wonderful team. They were just a delight to talk to and get to know. Thank you both for the wonderful opportunity. I hope the see you all soon.

My grandmother always told me: you can tell the cleanliness of an interior by its toilets. My toilet was always spotless, even if the rest of the house was a mess. And I've passed this habit on to my 32-year-old daughter lol.

In a hoarder situation, tossing it all makes it worse. They will fill it back up worse than it was and never ever ask for help again. It's a huge process for them to retrain their brain. 💔💔

I have 6 dental implants. Depending on your situation; you may have to wait several months after the original tooth is pulled to allow for healing before having the implant set. Once the implant is set; you need to wait 6 months to properly let the bone grow around it. Your oral surgeon may check it every two months for any infection and tightness. Then, back to the dentist to have a mold made of your new bite. He will send the mold away to have the new tooth made. That can also take several weeks. Once the new tooth is made the Dentist will check the color match and fit. If all is well, he will remove the healing collar and attach you new permanent tooth. Expect 9 months, at least, from start to finish. Hope this helps.

The thing that was different about this situation is that I didn't have any teeth pulled. I had two Bridges on my front teeth, so a set of three teeth on either side and the middle tooth on each Bridge is missing. I was actually missing those adult teeth and so those spots have been empty for a while. They basically just cut that part of the Bridges out on both sides to do the implants. So, I was told 12 weeks from the time of surgery and then the dentist would take care of the rest. The real issue was that the periodontist office didn't set up the proper appointment with my dentist because they needed a lot more time than they scheduled and so now, of course, the dentist is all booked out for several weeks and I'm just on a cancellation list for whenever they can squeeze me in. Lesson learned. I will be making my own appointments from now on and not trust that the two offices have communicated everything properly. But, I have to remind myself, there are way worse things than having to wait a few extra weeks for a dental procedure.😊

Yes, much patience is needed with implants. The longer it can heal without chewing on it, the better. And ... I make all my own appointments.👍🏼

Usually it is six months after surgery until the final implant tooth is placed. They have to wait for the bone to fuse around the post.

The EASIEST way to clean a toilet like that is to take off the seat and put it in the tub. Spray with cleaner and rinse it off. It’s easier to clean the bowl too.

Holy moly, I think you are my soul sister! 😅 I just stayed at my parents' house and I cleaned everything. I put their little wicker bathroom shelf in the shower and gave it a nice rinse. (We're both geniuses.🤓) Also, that big red scraper is fantastic. I used that on their tile shower and the outside of their ground level windows that were WHITE with mineral buildup from the sprinklers.

She plays the organ and the piano for her church on Sundays and also at funerals, but her own piano I don't think she has seen in 5 years, so, yes, it was a pretty awesome moment to have her sit down and play it.🥰 And I think she's going to start giving piano lessons now that it's uncovered.👏💜

At least you were able to afford the surgical post and temporary tooth. I'm looking at loosing a tooth and looking terrible. Can't even afford the root canal. Self esteem even worse. Good job cleaning

I'm so sorry, Donna! It definitely puts things into perspective. I do feel very blessed to be in a position to pay for the dental work. I did have to save up the last 4 years to do what I'm doing now which might be part of the reason I'm so anxious to finally get it done. I'm saying this as much to myself as to you, but we have to remember our self-worth is more than just our smile.😘🙏

The one thing I know for sure about hoarder disorder is that I am so thankful I don't have it and have known no one who does. That's very optimistic of you to think trailer loads left this house. 😂The actual truth is that she was able to sell a lot this last weekend and take some to the thrift store, but most of the rest is still in piles being gone through by her to decide what else to sell. I'm hoping that, as time goes on and the inspection date nears, that she will be willing to part with a lot more stuff. And I understand her wanting to try to sell it first, but I think we are going to get it to a point that she is just going to have to donate it because it is way too much work and way too slow of a process to try to sell it all. I'm trying to be patient and do it her way, but I think reality is going to set in here soon. After this week, I will actually be done until May, so it will be interesting to see what she is able to do in between that time.

It took me almost 6 months to get my post to getting my permeant, bridge…. A lot of healing to be done. However that was after 18 mons of chemo and radiation ?…

Thank you for sharing your experience with your implant. I imagine that would take longer after chemo and radiation. The teeth work was probably a cakewalk compared to the chemo and radiation I would think. I hope I never have to know what that's like.

Bonnie's mom here. I grew up on a farm. We worked hard and we played hard. I also believe it is in my genes. My dad lived to be a 103 years old. He only took one medication. Plus he drank Mountain Dew every day.😊

FINALLY,at 24:32, a real,large,standing trash can!!!!!!🙌🏻 It has got to make decluttering easier instead of using a floppy trash bag and it’s not going to be mistaken for a donation bag. That really stresses me out and I wonder how many times the sorters at the thrift stores say, “Oh great,another bag of garbage!”😵‍💫😬😳😖

Bonnie's mom here. As the garbage bag gets filled we carry it directly outside and put it in the back of her truck for her to take to the garbage dump.

@@DonnaJoyMaker Oh,great! I have seen channels where they use identical bags for garbage and donations. One time the woman started to put some trash in the donation bag and then said “oops” and put it in the other one. That’s why the real,upright can is so good in the actual sorting room!🙌🏻

Lol, yeah. Most of the big black garbage bags you see either have garbage in them or other trash bags. Except for when we are gathering up a certain item and taking them straight out to the pod to be sorted, like pillows or towels, etc.

I don't take any offense to it. Sometimes I do things the way I do because I'm filming it and I don't want to keep moving my camera around. I clean my own house differently because I do it more like you are describing. There are times where I feel it's worth the effort to move the camera to film spraying on the oven cleaner, for instance, and then circling back to it later in the day. It makes sense to let that cleaner work it's magic so that it's not such a big job.

I find it the easiest method to wash most things. I can't wait to have a house and outdoor space to wash even bigger and more complicated stuff!

I think this lady will find that she can't convert that sink faucet to two separate handles without replacing and replumbing the entire sink. Replacement knobs are easily found in hardware stores and should cost less than $20. She can do that repair herself without calling a plumber.

That's what I'm hearing from a lot of people. I wish they had been a little more up front about how long it can actually take because they told me 12 weeks was typical for the implant to heal and then it would be 3 to 4 more weeks to get the crowns put on. I think, if I had that information, I would have chosen to wait a little bit longer before starting the process.🤔

I had a dental implant and the process was a nightmare. After 6 months, I got an infection (red bump on my gums above the tooth) and they had to take out the post and start the process over again from the beginning after the infection healed. It was another 6 months before I got the permanent implant - so a year total. However, it’s now been over 10 years and I’ve never had any issues since. 😊

That does sound like a nightmare. Fortunately, I didn't have to have any teeth pulled because I was already missing the teeth where they put the implants in. It was healed enough to start the crown process about 4 weeks ago. The real problem was just that the periodontist office didn't schedule enough time for the appointment that they set up with my dentist and, by the time they figured it out, the dentist's schedule was full for several weeks, so I'm just on a cancellation list to squeeze me in whenever they can. I hate not knowing how long it's going to be, but I will just be grateful that it should only be a few more weeks and not a few more months. I'm glad yours has held up so well. That's what I'm hoping for because I have been replacing the crowns and bridges in the front about every 10 to 12 years and this is a more permanent solution.

I love cleaning, but I think I'd want to throw the lot so I couldn't do what you do because I'd be frustrated and people wanting to keep everything... I know it's their choice and their home but I couldn't just move all that stuff around to a different place. I take my hat off to you for your patience. I do realise what I think of trash could be very special to someone else. I'm so very glad I'm a minimalist person, I can clean my home so easily. To me clutter is noise

It can definitely be frustrating to see a space recluttered after you have cleaned it. This being technically my first hoarder house, I am learning a lot. I knew right from the start that I couldn't just trash everything or I would lose trust really quickly, but I'm also finding the concept of stuff-shifting to be really bizarre. I know we have to do that to some extent just because there's only so much space in each room, so you have to designate another area to sort out shoes, for instance, but when I come back the next week and the area that we designated for shoes is no longer just shoes, I do get a little annoyed. But, like you said, it's her stuff, and I'm trying to respect how she's going about this because it probably makes sense in her brain. I basically just told her we need to start getting rid of stuff or I need to be done. I am only going over there one day this next week and then after that, I will take a break for about a month while she works on stuff on her own. So, I will be really curious to know what happens in that 4-5 weeks. 😬
