If you're looking for cPanel alternatives I recommend using CyberPanel for unmanaged VPS servers. You can find CyberPanel here - cyberpanel.net/, together with all of the documentation. If you're looking for a managed VPS sPanel alternative go with ScalaHosting and their $0 sPanel ➜ emit.reviews/go/scalahosting-2023?cpan ► Use the code emit2023 at checkout for an EXTRA 10% OFF their hosting as well! For some more free options, check out CloudPanel and Hestia.
As I have personally dealt with these couple of panels myself their greed never ends. Get free and open source panel which has great community behind it so for that I can't go beyond "webmin".
ScalaHosting would be best, if its in your budget I'd recommend their Entry Cloud plan or the more advanced Cloud Hosting plans emit.reviews/go/scala-cheap
Not defending cPanel at all; selling out was the first step towards it's current mess. Even so, if it works, what difference does it make if it's "old" as the guy in this video claims? How is cPanel "outdated"? If it *does* what the majority of users *need* to be done managing their web sites, it's NOT outdated. Also, I've noticed a trend I find disturbing. Many people reviewing hosting companies focus on VPS hosting packages which are geared towards resellers; resellers are users who are hosting 'websites' which they are selling, making money off of the hosting company's multi-domain provision. It seems the hosting companies today have forgotten or have chosen to ignore users who are *NOT* resellers; users who want to set up *THEIR OWN* website or 2 or 3 & manage as they want. And....charging for things that used to be *standard*, like SSL?!?!
Now I'm paying 53.99 /mo for 100 and one week ago they make a decision of change the administration theme to a new one called Jupiter ( One absolutely abomination) They are killing whm cPanel and now I'm looking for a new alternative to manage my server.
If it's not too indiscreet of a question, do you know whats the CPM is for web dev or Webhosting channels? BTW your content is good, I just subscribed.
I heart that! Inmotionhosting just raised my current vps price by $20 because they phased it out. If I switch to a current vps plan, my cpanel price doubles. I'm wondering if I should try a different hosting provider or see if I can use cyberpanel.
Your content is good, but CyberPanel I'll advice anyone not to use it accept you really can stomach the headache and want something that " FREE " . Don't pay for the subscription, in 30 mins you will realize you made a big mistake and you can't cancel. Now : No File manager, you have to pay for Root File Manager. If you pay for it, 7.99 a month your other accounts or reseller will not have File Manager still ( you can use any third[arty FTP client thou. ) to install wordpress you need to pay to play.
