In this English lesson I'll help you learn words and phrases to talk about where you store your things. People have things. Messy people leave their things everywhere. Organized people store their things so their house or place or work is neat and tidy! In this free English class you'll learn the names of all the areas and things we use to stay organized.
In this English lesson you'll learn words and phrases like: closet, walk-in closet, storage locker, cabinet, trunk, cubby hole, crate, window sill, chest, bin, and more!
I hope you enjoy this free English class about storage! Have a good day!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

When I hear the word "attic", I always remember the great phrase of Sherlock Holmes🎻, he said: "the human brain is like an attic, a fool brings everything he sees around there. a wise person is very careful and brings only useful things there. P.S. the best actor who played Sherlock Holmes is the great russian🇷🇺 actor Vasily Livanov 👍

When I worked in offices, things were different. Then all these crises began, including the need to work from home. I gradually stopped buying clothes, because the clothes I had were more than enough for me and I didn't have to think about colleagues, dress code, and all that stuff. Now I don't worry about the appearance of clothes and even small holes in them.😋😏 This is my contribution to the preservation of the environment. 🤗 As they say: a t-shirt saved is a t-shirt earned.😁 Thank you!

I've watched some of your video lessons and i'd say that's amazing.👍 It's remarkable, that you've got your specific way how to express and explain all the things in details to your audience to be for them more easily understandable. So that's a really great job of you, giving us some time for lessons!. I appreciate. You are really great teacher!. Good bless you...

We had a small door-like structure which led to the attic from my room where I am right now (actually this room also was used As a storage) só we could bring stuff up there by a ladder. Later on, we kept chickens here then we made a small bedroom out of the room. It was convenient to be able to go up to the attic from inside our house. (I think inside in this sentence is NOT interchangeable with indoors, true?). Now we can go up only by an outside ladder.

A couple of years ago, it became fashionable in Mexico to put 10 peso coins inside a large bottle of soda. In one year, you could save an average of $13,000 MXN in the bottle, something like $825 CAD. An excellent challenge to create the habit of saving, right???
