@@NWOtion This is a small show, the goal is to entertain as many of these people as possible so they buy the wrestlers merch and follow their RU-vid stuff. Its not about trying to make it look real and keeping everything crisp, building slowly until the end like WWE has indoctrinated you into believing is the ONLY way to put on a good match- that would be boring as shit in this environment..... and judging by the loss of fans over the last 20 years, its boring at WWE events too.

People enjoy the circus, people enjoy some of these men pretending to fight but being so bad athletically that they have to resort to goofy dancing because they cant make it look real. What about his wrestling isn’t up to snuff in your opinion? Looks about as solid as anyone else to me. Like, I doubt he’ll ever be an AEW world champion, but that’s not because of his work. It’s because his gimmick doesn’t need the world title and it wouldn’t feel right having his character win it.

@@zacharyhoover2668 I see a lot of people complain about his wrestling, but I agree with you his wrestling is solid and I feel it's very traditional. I feel that a lot of people don't like it because he's not doing a bunch of super kicks and DDTs all the time, nor does he do any highflying moves. I see loads of wrestlers doing that stuff now a days and not a lot doing the less flashy stuff. I think he does a great job at making his matches entertaining with his slim yet solid repertoire of moves.

I agree with that. He has decent ring work, but without the gimmick he'd basically be a jobber or remain in the indie scene. With his promotion skills and popularity, I can easily see him being the next big notable manager in the same vein as Jimmy Hart, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Jim Cornette, etc.

Well, IMO, nobody does it as good as the originator KENTA. As for "Why does everyone copy the GTS?"..... because they can. Just like any other wrestling move. I imagine that coming up with a new unique move, that can be done without actually hurting or possibly even killing someone if not done perfectly, is not something that just anyone can do...... Done correctly or incorrectly, I still am surprised that more people don't come away with more broken noses than they do after receiving the GTS.

Also, just watched the 2 Germans he pulled out in this match again. Where is he “dumping them” incorrectly? Were you referring to a different match, because the ones in here are a regular upper back bump and a full rotation bump with Darin’s forearms carrying him over.
