The Gaza Strip is surrounded by a barrier where the Palestinians are in an open air prison. some have called it a largest concentration camp in the world. They cannot go out without permission of Israel. The wall is over 20 feet high. You can Google pictures, When he says 2 million people that's how many people live in Gaza. Its a strip of land that's approximately 22 miles long. While it borders the ocean, they have no access to the ocean. It's literally a prison.

"Shouting at the Wall" could have multiple meanings. There's the saying of "talking to the wall" when you're speaking but nobody listens. As he says, it's been so long and nothing ever changes for them! And also, Palestine and Gaza specifically have seperation "apartheid" walls which imprison them in that location, their boarders (land, sea and air) are heavily controlled by Israel - the occupier. Shouting at the wall relates to (I think) the Great March of Return protests, which happened every Friday night. Palestinians in Gaza would assemble at the wall dividing them from their homes in what is now called Israel. It was a means of peaceful protest which resulted in hundreds being killed by Israeli sniper fire. Unarmed civilians.

The Gaza strip is build open air prison. The isreali have huge walls made where they controle water, electricity and what goes I'm ( food and supplies). Isreal was slowly starving them but not giving enough food.. Now they cut off all food, water and electricity. Dropping bombs is a regular thing but the past 7 months its been.... horrific. You wondered if kids go to school? No, the precision bombs targeted all infrastructure of Gaza. School, hospitals, offices, shops, stores are are flattered. It's a gen0cide!

Shouting at the wall meaning the 20 ft high wall that surrounds the entire Gaza strip with cameras and guards posted all around it. Gaza is one giant concentration camp as described by multiple human rights groups and even some Israeli officials. There is no airport. There is no sea port. Both were destroyed by Israel and Palestinians aren't allowed to build new ones. Israel has controlled everything going in and out of Gaza for the last 20 years - water supply, electricity, even the amount of food down to precise caloric intake calculations. The people have gone to the wall in what started as peaceful protests in what is called the first and second intifada (meaning "to shake off" or "uprising" in Arabic). Both times they were met with extreme violence with Israelis shooting people from behind the wall to kill or permanently disable them (shooting out kneecaps was the most popular).

Gaza is an open air prison, it's basically a double meaning as in shouting at the prison wall because there is nothing else he can do to escape, and also shouting out for help but it's like talking to a wall because no one is doing anything about it. Free Palestine!
