This was an amazing episode. I'm glad you have a platform like this. When I heard about the Land Back movement, I didn't know much, but I figured since it came from your organizations it was on the right side of history. I had a sense that it was about justice, people, and the land. But I see it's so much deeper and more liberating. Thank you.

Someone asked me as well, if I would give up my home under those circumstances. I said yes, even though I don't own anything, because it's the right thing and they're the original stewards. Colonization and capitalism has ruined the land, not to mention all the harm to people. These mining companies are the antithesis of indigenous culture. They need to be checked. Btw since the troll missed history and science classes, indigenous peoples have been here since at least 23k years ago, likely longer. Some also came by water routes down the northern coastlines, a few even island hopping to South America. As far as we know, everyone came out of Africa. But all of this is a different sort of "migration" than settler colonialism. Ps. Thanks for including the different peoples. I can't remember off the top of my head where their lands are, so time for a deep dive. My roots so-to-speak are in the earliest of settled lands, the Chesapeake Bay area, Pamunkey lands specifically. Currently, I reside in the Central Valley California, in an area Miwok called home. Before moving here, I thought they were above the fray when it came to the tribes, when in fact they were one of the worst. There's definitely some restitution that should be made.
