Great question! The age is what makes a difference for Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) Limits: • BAC of 0.08% or higher, if the person is ** 21 years old or older ** • BAC of 0.01% or higher, if the person is ** under 21 years old ** Here's the complete BAC limit breakdown: BAC of 0.08% or higher, if the person is 21 years old or older. BAC of 0.01% or higher, if the person is under 21 years old. BAC of 0.01% or higher at any age, if the person is on a DUI probation. Here in California, the DMV Instructional Permit Knowledge Test is 46 questions long for minors (under 18 years old), or 40 questions for adults (over 18). The length of the test will vary depending on what state or country you live in, hope that helps!

Hello Bong, we strongly recommend that you read the entire DMV Handbook for your state. Read it front to back, and read it a few times if you have to. All of the questions for the test should be found within in the handbook. Hope that helps!
If you are under 21, there is "Zero Tolerance", which means that any amount of alcohol in your system is illegal if under 21 . @rikinishu is 100% correct: "under 21 is 0.01% but 21 and over is 0.08%" Thanks!!
Hello! These questions are from CA tests, but most of the info applies to all states. We've had several comments from other state test takers who did well on their test using these videos. However, please be sure to read your state's DMV handbook for the most accurate info - especially in regards to alcohol and drug rules. Often times, the legal alcohol limits vary state to state. Hope that helps!

In California, If you are UNDER 21 years old, you cannot have any alcohol in the car with you, open or unopened (except for a few exceptions). If you are 21 or over, you can have UNOPENED bottles in the car with you, but any OPEN bottles need to be out of the reach of passengers - like in the trunk (there are also a few exceptions to this rule). Hope that helps!
