i am confused, at the end of the first round i only get 11 stiches and not 12... i tried so many times but i dont know where i am missing one stich! could you help me? thanks!

Hi, are you counting the beginning ch2 as your first half double crochet stitch? You should be chaining 2 and working a total of 11 stitches into the magic ring. You then slip stitch into the top of the beginning ch2 to join which will give you 12 stitches for the first round. How do I make this bigger or double it?

Hi, you can simply make the squares bigger by adding more rounds. Make a hdc in each of the hdc stitches and [hdc, dc, hdc] in the corner dc stitch for each additional round. To work out how big the finished cushion will be, just measure an individual square and multiply it by 8 for the Height and by 9 for the Width. The depth will be a little more than the size of 1 square.
