Great video, I have the same situation. I had a “Come to the big Rooster in the sky” meeting and informed my 11 ladies that I better get a full ration of Cackle fruit in a few days or someone is going to in a pot. I get 8-9 a day.
I raise worms. I grind up washed and dried egg shells into a powder and I feed that to the worms and then guess what I do? I feed them worms to the chickens. That gives calcium back to the chickens without them at all knowing what's going on. Shhh . . . Keep that one under your hat. The worms and the chickens don't know about any of this and I don't want them to find out. 🤣
THAT'S FUNNY RIGHT THERE BROTHER ALAN. YAY SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND YOUR WIFE. OH BROTHER ALAN, YOUR NEPHEW IS SENT BY FATHER GOD. I'M IN MY 60S AND LEARNING SO MUCH FROM YOUR NEPHEW. THANK FATHER GOD IN JESUS NAME 🙏 🙌

I cut the tips off my triple crown and quitchita. Both have produced laterals that are growing like crazy. I’m in my first year with these plants and curious what will die off? The laterals didn’t produce fruit. I assume I cut them too late. They are just growing. Will everything die off in winter?
Those varieties are Floricane. They will not produce fruit on the new canes this year. Just keep pruning like you have. They will go dormant in the winter The canes that produced in the spring have probably already died. They can be pruned out. Watch this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JZAFfGE8sK0.html But, don't prune anything out unless you *_KNOW_* it's dead cane
@@BIGALTX the only vines that die are the ones that produced fruit this year? The laterals that grew this Thank you for your replies and your videos. I never would of known to trim the tops to produce those lateral’s. Being I’ve got laterals growing will I need to do anything with them this next season? I know they’ll lose their leaves over winter but will all grow back and produce from laterals next summer? Sorry if u have already covered this.
FIVE YEARS OLD!!! That may be a record for laying every other day. Mine have always started to slow down after about 2 years old... no matter what breed
